hi! A few days from now our epic adventure begins. I think I'm more excited than my 8yo son.
I've been reading about The glass elevator at PPH. I think I have it straight, anybody can take it up, but only the higher floors can call it up to take you down? Does this help in the morning with the slow elevator problem?
Last time we were there we were on the 3rd floor and it was the slower season so I don't remember ever having an issue with the elevators.
The second part of my post is wondering if I have overscheduled us. Our last trip it was my son's first trip to Disneyland so we had something every single day. Blue Bayou, Pirates league x2, Jedi, character breakfast, MHP, you get the idea. I swore this time was going to be laid back with nothing scheduled except Blue Bayou.
Fast forward..... We now have:
8/16- arrival day (should be in the parks by noonish)
8/17 12:30 Frozen pre show
8/18 WOC dessert 9pm
8/19 Jedi training
8/20 blue bayou 11:30
8/21- afternoon tea 12:10 S55
8/22 free
8/23 free
8/24 home (flight is at 3:30 so we will hit the parks in the morning)
I had also planned the Pirate Adventure place but it just seemed like overkill. And BB is a must because my son loves it there. PtN is not planned but I'm hoping to fit in a second parade viewing since you don't have to stake out a spot hours ahead. And it made me too anxious to do an ADR for PtN since we are already so booked.
It's making me nervous because I have so many things planned at 12-1. And my son is adamant that we hang out at the pool this time. Last time we were there we were so overbooked we didn't hit the pool once. Should I ditch a couple things or move things around?
Advice and critique are most welcome. Or just tell me to calm the hell down; we have 8 solid days in the parks!!!!
