PP or 7DMT after BOG

We have a reservation on Saturday October 22nd for 4 at 8:20 at BOG. I would like to try get to PP and 7DMT without a fastpass. What would be our best bet? Go right to PP after breakfast then hit 7DMT or 7DMT then PP? We don't mind waiting in line, we just don't want to wait in crazy long lines!! lol Thanks in advance!!

I'd try to get 7DMT. Standby gets long really fast. PP gets long too, but probably not quite as quickly as 7DMT. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't know you'll get them both unless you want to wait in a 60+ minute line. By time you eat breakfast, get to the ride you chose, wait in that line, then walk to the other one I'll bet that line will be really long.

Be at MK by 7:30 AM and get in the Early ADR line.

They will let you in around 7:45 AM.

Go straight to BOG and eat(they will let you go ahead and eat-you don't have to wait until 8:20 AM).

Try to be finished eating by 8:40 AM and head straight to SDMT.

They will let you ride ahead of the Maingate line.

Then go straight to Pan and you shouldn't have much of a wait there at all.

(All of this assumes a 9:00 AM open and that things have not very recently changed.)

When we went in May we had an 8 am BOG but I got fps for PP (9-10) and 7DMT (10-11) which I had planned to jump on 7DMT right after breakfast, then drop that pass and grab another somewhere else (like Splash) while we went on PP a little after 9. 7DMT was down until 10:30. So, moral of the story, don't count on 7DMT being a walk on after breakfast. (our 3rd fp, Space Mtn, was down until after 1 pm).

Agreed! We were there end of may-first week of june and this happened to us twice. Each time 7dmt was closed when we came out of BOG breakfast.

I didn't even think of that! Thank you! I was thinking about getting a FP for 7DMT anyway just to be safe but I figured I'd ask the experts first!! Out of curiosity, what happens when a popular ride breaks down? Do they let you wait it out or do you sort of just linger in that area in hopes that it will re open soon?

What happened to us was that at 10 am it converted to an any time pass. Since the ride did not start back up until 10:30 or so, the fp line was pretty long. We went on and did other things with the girls. Every time we went by the line was just too long plus it was so hot. We were frustrated because so many attractions were down. (Pooh down off and on, barnstormer down off and on, Space Mtn down until after 1, we tried to go to adventure land via train, guess what? Yep, down. So we split right after a great lunch at Skippers (never did ride space Mtn) but on the way out I stopped at guest services and showed them our mess of fps (2 out of 3 anytime passes by that time) and asked if I could get 7DMT any time for our next MK day as the girls were melting down by then

Oh Wow!! That's crazy that so many rides were down. Majorly frustrating! At least you had the anytime passes to use on your next MK day!

I agree with @Mambo Junkie

We had two BOG breakfasts during our trip. The first time, it worked out perfectly and we got on and off 7DMT before the RD crowd arrived. The second day, we finished BOG even quicker (hoping to do 7DMT twice) but the ride was down and stayed down for probably an hour.

Ride 7DMT, even twice if you like, followed by PP. There should be no lines for 7DMT either time, & only an easy line for PP.

I've done this twice this year: once in January and once in July, and it worked like a charm both times. If you're going during a very heavy crowd time, then only ride 7DMT once, then move on to PP.
