PP Conceirge?

We want to plan a quickie trip to DL 12/3-12/6 for a famil of 4. We'd like to get some sort of off season deal, and would like resort property. It appears that PP is the only one avail, and we can upgrade to conceirge level for less than $50 total! Seems too good to be true. PP would NOT have been our choice, so I'm asking anyone for feedback on PP, as well as their conceirge service/offerings. Also, how far walking distance is PP to DL?

Just stayed at PP 23-25Oct on the concierge lvl. Was really impressed with our room and the best part was it overlooked CA. They offer a continental breakfast in the morning (cereal,bagels,danishes,fruit,juices,coffee,tea,etc.)Thru out the day they offered chips,goldfish,trailmix,sodas,fruit,bottled water, we didn't make it to the evening snacks, but I thought that it was worth the upgrade. It was a short walk to the monorail for DL or you could enter CA across the street by going in thru the Grand Californian.

I haven't stayed at the PP (we have stayed at the DLH and GCH), but just for the chance to try out concierge at such a great price, I would jump at that offer! I looked to see if there was anything similar for our dates (the next week), but concierge jumps up to almost $300 more for the five nights of our stay.

I believe the walking distance to DL (via the GCH & thru DTD) is about 7-9 minutes. It's great. But more important is that it's only a couple of minutes from Grizzily Rapids in DCA to the Pier (& your mid day break).

I've done the PP Concierge once & have stayed at the PP 2 other times. I'd give the Conceirge service a value of about $50 - $80 per day.
