Powerpoint help please.....

Can someone direct me where to get Powerpoint that allows you to edit things?
My daughter needs it for a project for school and I only have the viewer. Can anyone help?

Pretty sure you have to buy that one.... I have it at work so I'll use it there when I need something...
It's a part of our MS Office package.

Yeah you have to purchase it as part of Microsoft Office.

Download Openoffice at http://www.openoffice.org/

Once you install, you can use the presentation portion to create your presentation, then save it as a powerpoint presentation.

BTW, OpenOffice is completely free and compatible with every MSOffice product out there. It's simple to use and very much like the regular Powerpoint.

Thank you very much , I will try that. I e-mailed the teacher and asked him if we could do it any other way but I don't know if he will even check his e-mail until next week. I will try that.
