PowerPass activation expiration?

Can I buy a voucher for the 15 month pass and not activate it for a few years? Normally their promotions show up on the AAA site with a "must activate by" xyz date or it essentially activates for you on that date. (For the buy one get one year free offer, etc.) For the power pass for 119, I can't find any restrictions about when it would need to be activated. Has anyone on a Disney trip tried going over to US/IOA just to buy a voucher for future use?

Since Universal isnt selling a 15 month powerpass any expirations would be at the sellers discretion. If you purchase a ticket/pass from Universal (unless its a timed promotion with expirations) you can activate it whenever you like.

Let me rephrase! LOL I know there was a 15 month available but I thought it was from AAA and wasnt available directly through Universal to buy? Also are they still for sale? Thank You!
