I spent my weekly Starbucks money on 10 tickets and I matched the powerball on 2. I may not have won the jackpot but I get to go to Starbucks today and tomorrow!
2 Tampa guys have 290 people at $500.00 each minimum buy-in for 72,500 tickets. Helps their odds a bit.
I would take the annuity. The logical thing to do.
$4 or $12 with PowerPlayUpon further scrutiny, it appears I matched the powerball and 1 number. What'd I win?
Huzzah!$4 or $12 with PowerPlay

Oh, I was just going by what it said on my state lottery website. Maybe I looked a the wrong lineActually $8 with power play since the multiplier was 2.

Possibly, or I just haven't had enough coffee yet.The multiplier for Saturday's drawing was 3 - maybe they hadn't updated their site yet?

81 tickets matched 5 numbers for the $1million prize. I would have loved that. But, alas, just 1 number matched on my 4 tickets. DS, in NC, bought 5 tickets so maybe he matched 5![]()
Great story about the winner in CA - not yet confirmed though since no one has come forward to claim the jackpot yet. I heard the winning ticket in TN was bought in a very small town with only one stop light and about 6,000 residents.
