I was wondering if any have words of advice or experiences to report on flying Sun Country out of MSP to MCO with a power wheelchair? My sister will be traveling for the first time without her DH and has never flown Sun Country but it's either them or Delta for a direct flight to Orlando. She's fairly comfortable with Delta but taking Sun Country out of the smaller terminal sounds like it may be a good option.

Or just any experience with power wheelchairs and Sun Country in general?

I don't have experience, here, but I would call the airlines.

Call the airline for specifics for the particular chair - it will vary somewhat depending on type of batteries, etc.

We have not traveled with our daughter's power wheelchair, but we fly out of the smaller airport at MSP every chance we get. The smaller airport is much easier to get around/deal with than the huge main terminal.
We mostly travel Sun Country and have had no problems. They are a smaller airline than Delta, but experienced enough that they know how to handle guests using wheelchairs. We've found them to be very friendly and helpful.

Thanks for the replies! I believe because of flight schedules she will be flying Delta at least on the way down but perhaps Sun Country on the way back if other members of the family choose to do that. Hopefully it all goes easily.
