I got an electric pressure cooker for Christmas and am loving it so far. It is the Power Pressure Cooker "as seen on TV".

So, I am just wondering what others cook in their electric pressure cooker?

And have you learned how to take recipes from your slow cooker and change them to a pressure cooker recipe?

I have made a beef roast, white lima beans, bbq ribs and black eyed peas so far. Like using it much better than a slow cooker as sometimes I don't have the time in the morning to put everything in the slow cooker but now I can make the meal at night with very little time.

But, some of the recipes I have found do not make sense to use the pressure cooker for. Like Chicken Alfredo or Sweet and Sour Chicken. Unless I was doing it from frozen, I guess but it seems like these things take so little time to do that it wouldn't be worth doing in the pressure cooker. But maybe I am missing something?

I have had one for a few months and love it! I use to use an older model that you had to use on your stove until DH burned a roast in it, so I replaced it with one of the new electric ones.

I haven't had time to play around with it much, but use it to cook chickens and ribs and roasts the most. I usually cook a whole chicken every week so I have broth and meat to use for chicken and noodles or dumplings or soup or a casserole.

I know on TV they show cooking dry pasta with them and I would really like to hear if anyone has done it with any success. I am a little scared to try it, I don't want to be stuck with baked on pasta to clean up!

I got one for Christmas too! I love mine! I have only made spare ribs, wings and a pork roast. The spare ribs and the pork roast were amazing, but the wings could have cooked a little longer. I am wanting to try the french onion soup next.

I bought a pork roast this week! How did you do it?
