power out at DVC due to fire

looks like they had some power problems at DVC due to a fire at epcot yesterday morning

hope things are back for the people there ....

seems it was the BCV affected

Power was lost at Epcot and the nearby Caribbean Beach Resort and the air conditioning was lost at the nearby Beach Club Villas.

We were at the Beach Club Villas last night ( - now we are back home in Ohio.). We noticed around 4am that there was no power at all (not just air conditioning as the Orlando Sentinal reported) - it seemed to come back on around 5:30am. I was glad that we did not have an early morning flight, as the clock radios, of course, were messed up!

We were disappointed because we had planned to go back to EPCOT today before leaving for home and have lunch. I was glad that we did do some of that park on Sunday.

The only thing that helps is the fact that we will be back in December.

The new BC Villas were beautiful. It was our first trip as DVC Members and we had a great time.

I just got home an hour or so ago - will post more of a report when I have more time.

Thanks for the update, hope the rest of your stay was better than your last nite , Thats one of the advantages of being a DVC member.........you know you will be going back.....and back......and back.................and back.....and back.............many more times!!!!!!!!!
