Potty-training question/advice wanted

Use or lose the pull-ups?

  • Do not take pull-ups; take spare underwear in case of accidents

  • Take pull-ups so she can use them if she has accidents

  • Have her wear pull-ups as she does at home (occasionally at night)

  • Wear pull-ups all the time while at Disney

I think if she were my daughter I'd do as I was doing at home.

But if your sister (her Mom) feels more comfortable going ahead and just putting her in Pull Ups most of the time, just let her. A little potty training regression may be a small price to pay if the Pull Ups will help Mom have more of a worry-free trip.

We took ours when he was already potty trained...but he had only been trained for a few weeks. So we brought pull-ups and had him wear them while he was at the parks. Sometimes it's hard to get to a bathroom in time. He did great and mostly didn't need them. We used the baby care centers as the restrooms in there are much quieter and no automatic flush toilets.

We did need them as he did have one "accident", which, with the pull-up, was no big deal!

After Disney, he went back to all underwear and it was seamless- right back to normal potty-trained.
