Is 15 months to young to start teaching about the potty? DD is showing so many signs of being aware of when she is pooping or peeing. When she is having naked time she goes to the same section of tile and poops or pees. She also has been telling me when she has a dirty diaper so I can change it.
I think she is ready to start learning about it and I am thinking the way to go would be to get a potty chair. Then I would just leave it out for her.
I just am wondering what the best approach is. I have not pushed her at all or gotten upset when she does her business on the tile. I know she is just figuring things out.
Should I let her be clothes free all day and see what happens? Or just start with when she is having her clothes free time?
Has anyone potty trained a child this young? I just need some advice on the best way to guide her.
Thanks!
