Hi all. Heading down for our first WDW stay on our AKV contract in about 10 days (we've previously used our points to stay at VGC). We have 7 days in a savannah studio at Kidani and 9 days at a studio at SSR (requested Congress Park).
Question #1
Given our extended stay, laundry is going to be an issue. Wondering if anyone can give me a rough estimate of the number of public washers/dryers available at the two resorts. I'm assuming that the number of rooms that need access to these facilities is reasonably low as 1br and larger have built-ins, but I'd prefer not to have to do laundry at 3 in the morning if that is the only time the machines are available.
Question #2
Laundry at 3 am wouldn't be the worst thing, since I'm an insomniac. That being said, my standard m.o. is to watch netflix/hulu on my iPad in the night, so I don't disturb my wife and daughter with the tv.
Can anyone comment on the strength of the wifi signals at these two resorts and whether it is strong enough in the rooms to do this (failing which, I'll just spring for extra data from my cell provider). In the last 12 months, I've had good luck with wifi at VGC, but the wifi signal at the Disneyland Hotel was so weak that I couldn't even stream radio.
Thanks all!
