Potential first time buyers

We are currently deciding whether or not to purchase shares in the AKV. How are these incentives (160 developer points, 160 points in June 08 for use in May 09) compared to other past incentives? Is it a good time to buy or does anyone think the incentives could get better? Does disney barter at all or is it what it is?

The sales rep dealing with us is a bit pushy, she is telling us that if we don't do it now the price will go up and the incentives will go away. I find this hard to believe, but has anyone had any experience with this? How have your experiences been with the reps and do you keep the same rep for trades, etc.... in using your points because we are not sure that we want to deal with her after we buy and maybe even find a new rep now.

Hi Mark,

Fellow MA family here. We are DVC owners. I'm not very savy with incentives but I can tell you the base price does go up but there are always incentives. You may also want to post on the DVC thread. It's also on the disboards and if I were more savy I would have copied the link. Also check the resale. We have not done this but many have an seem happy.
