Large images are automatically reduced to 1024x768 when uploaded. If you want to make an uploaded image a different size, at the top of the page you should see a black bar with the following options:

Home Library Connect Browse Edit Upload​

Click on Edit and select the image that you want to resize. The Edit page will open and at the top there will be several icons. A Resize icon is located in the middle. Click on it and you will be able to change the size. Click the Apply button and you're done!

Wow! Your images ARE huge. Okay, I found what you need to do on Photobucket:

1. Click on your screenname on the top right side of the page, next to Help
2. Select User Settings
3. On the Personal Information page, click the Albums tab
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the link labeled Customize Upload Options under the heading Upload Options
5. In the Upload Options window, select the default size that you want your images to be in and click Save

Then either resize or delete and reupload your picture of Marie and edit your post above. That should do the trick.

This isn't the greatest picture, but it's the best I could do at the time in an attraction that doesn't allow flash photography.

OK I did all that and my default is 1020 x 768, but for some reason all my pics of Marie are still loading huge! I tried a pic from a different album and it resized fine.... confused

I just checked your image on Photobucket and it looks like it's still 1944x2592 in size. You might try re-uploading the image to Photobucket and use the new link to post here. Then you can delete the original image from Photobucket if you'd like. ")

I just checked your image on Photobucket and it looks like it's still 1944x2592 in size. You might try re-uploading the image to Photobucket and use the new link to post here. Then you can delete the original image from Photobucket if you'd like. ")

what I don't understand on photobucket is that you used to be able to resize each pic separately if you wanted but now when I try it is distorting the picture

When you try to resize the picture, make sure that the padlock icon between the width and height boxes is colored blue and looks like it's locked. That should maintain the proportions for you. If the padlock is gray and looks unlocked then your picture can get distorted.
