senecabeach - Right now I have over 900 Christmas pictures categorized in SmugMug. I don't think I have any other holiday pictures except Christmas....even though I've been at Easter and in early October.......:confused3

I think this is my favorite holiday picture even if it is from 2007.

I just watched the first two LOTR movies for the first time, and while I haven't gotten to the third yet, this made me laugh. :rotfl:

Don't have any seasonal decorations pics yet-26 days until I do!

Good luck with the Christmas pics!

As for LOTR, if you want funny, see if you can find the funniest book ever written, *if* you have read LOTR- Bored of the Rings by the Harvard Lampoon.

Cha-ching!

:)

Yep ejud! I got some very nice shots from that balcony if I say so myself....

:offtopic: There's a little story behind getting that room and view.

It was Dec. 15. We were splurging and had reserved Atrium Club level (at AP rates) and when we checked in I found that we were assigned Bay View :(

So I very nicely went up to the Concierge on duty and politely asked if we could be switched to Theme Park View. After about 5 minutes on the computer, voila....we got a Theme Park View room! (And of course, someone else checking in that day ended up with Bay View but that's Disney for you!)

It was the last year that Theme Park View was the same rate as Bay View on the CL level so we felt really lucky - given a super view room that a few weeks later would have cost at least $45 a night more and only because we asked and one was available. It was a great trip and we loved our room all the more because we got some Disney magic!

Very nice Dave. There are so many different special elements of iconic Disney at Christmas in this shot: decorations, street lamps, balloons, beautiful warm skies, and the castle.

First photo I took on Disney property, while on our honeymoon - Wilderness Lodge tree while my hubby of only two days checked us into our room. :lovestruc

Just want to throw in here while it is "on topic", that for the last week or so, I have been working on my new video, "Christmas at WDW".

As I mentioned, I went through everything and came up with 1,172 non-personal Christmas pictures of WDW. I spent the last few days selecting and sorting and then moving the choice ones from each venue into their own folder, then worked through that getting more and more critical, and then took about 50% of them into one of my photo programs for squaring up, cropping where needed, adjusting various things as needed...

Finished that at about 7:15 this evening and have run through the final cut of the stills collection a few times since, and if you will forgive the conceit, this is one heck of a collection of 111 images of WDW at Christmas!

Coming soon to a You Tube near you!
