Potato chips in sub sandwiches?

I used to do it all the time with PB and J and I HAVE to on my tuna! lol I also like catsup on my carrots and tarter sauce and mayo on fries(even thou I no longer can eat like that!)

You mean potato chips are not an approved condiment?:confused3

They are must haves on my sandwiches. :cool1:
They are. I just got back from Disney a few weeks ago. Every day for lunch I had me a free salad and a side of chips from the fixing bars.....

Just kidding...

ruffles on sloppy joes! Been doing it since elementary school in the 60s

But never with a hoagie (I'm from Philly) or sub as some call them. I usually only do that with a ham and cheese with mustard on slice bread. (don't ask me why though) LOL

My friend and I used to eat potato chip sandwiches. Haven't thought of that in years!

I also love chips on tuna fish casserole. My SO thinks I'm nuts. Maybe so.

My best friend does this. She puts the chips on a few at a time though, not all at once. She's also the one who introduced me to Cole Slaw on sandwiches. I never picked up the chip thing but I LOVE Cole Slaw on sandwiches.:thumbsup2

I especially love cole slaw on roast beef sammies!

Thank you for everyone's reply. I am going to show this thread to my coworker Monday to prove I'm not crazy:crazy2:

For me it's a texture thing. A plain sandwich seems so blah and dull without that massive salty CRUNCH!

Thats why I like other chips besides potato. Classic potato chips tend to not have enough of that CRUNCH! factor.

Fritos on Ham & Cheese w/ pickles.
Tostetos on Subs.
Sun Chips on summer sausage.

I love chips on my sandwiches, and I eat that a lot. I've been eating really healthy this year, but the chip in sandwich thing is the only thing that I will never stop doing.

I have put chips in my Subway sandwiches before. I usually get parmesan oregano for the bread but when I'm going to put chips in it, it has to be the white bread.

My go-to combination is turkey or chicken with nacho cheese doritos.

This sounds like a terrible idea now but when I was younger I loved to eat "cracker" sandwiches. Nothing nutritious involved. It consisted of white bread, Miracle Whip and crumbled up Saltine crackers. I loved this but haven't tried this in years.

I have a TON of odd food habits from my younger days, I was never a picky eater, it's just that ... well... *looks around* my dear, dear, love her forever Mom's cooking was sort of... bland

Sliced pickles in soup and stew and pot pie(quarter the pickle and slice the quarters thickly.)
Cheese on apple and cherry pie.
Liverwurst in vinegar
Cottage cheese on rye bread sandwich.
Geletin Meat (Don't ask... sort of like head cheese, except more gross )
Crackers w/ sliced pickles on top.
Hot dogs wrapped in toast.
Bread balls w/ sauce (could be gravy or marinara) (The bread had to be the super-processed Wonder-bread type)

That's just off the top of my head.

I used to love chip sammies with mustard on potato bread. I eat it every now and then as a snack.
