Posting private messages to other posters

If you send a message to another poster, how do you know it was sent and where does it go? In some mailbox or cyberspace?

Hope someone can answer this. I am very confused!

If you look up at the right top of your screen, you will see your Dis Name and under that "Private Messages". If you click on that, you can access your private messages -- in box & out box. Watch, I will send you a PM.

When you send on you can check a box down below the posting box for a "read receipt". Check that before you hit send and then you can track your PM's where it says "Track Messages" and see if they have read it. However some people (like me!) often just read the text of the PM in the email notification so it may appear that I never ready the PM but I did, I just never opened it on the DIS.
