Posting photos without Photobucket

Ok, how do you post a photo without photobucket? Newbies need 10 posts to use links. I looked at the instructions for file attachment, they don't work either. I have always been able to post using html img src, but this board does not support that. Any help using this forum tags would be appreciated, unless I make 10 posts that really don't make sense. Thank You

The only way to post photos here is with a link to a photo hosting site. The 10 post limit is in place for a reason. Join in a conversation, answer a question, get involved and you will have 10 posts in no time.

I have photos uploaded to Picasa photo site. How on earth do I get them to post in my thread/report on the DIS??

I have tried everything and am close to ripping all my hair out. All I get is a clickable link to go to the site to view the photos but I want the image IN my thread!

Help?? I need step by step don't leave out any detail instruction!

Many sites, Picasa may be one of them, do not allow "hot-linking." This means that you can post a link that takes a user to their site, but you cannot link to just a photo and have it show up within a post on another site like the DIS.

I'm not sure as I was able to do it in October when I did my trip reports but I kind of stumbled on how to do it and for the life of me can't remember how I did it! So you think they have changed their policy?

I am trying to post Navigators that I just scanned. I am not able to figure out how to put them on a Thread. My profile says I can not do anything with attachments. Could that have something to do with it?
Please help...time sensitive.
