We intend to postmark our postcards from Hell in Grand Cayman. Should we purchase postcards on the Magic and mail them in Hell? I would hate to waste our time in Hell writing them out. Can we purchase stamps in Hell or buy Grand Cayman stamps on the Magic?

When reading this back, it sure sounds silly!!!!!!!

Thanks for your help

Writing out the postcards beforehand is a good idea to save time. Then you can buy postage at the post office in Hell. You will need to go to the actual post office in order to get them postmarked from Hell.

We had our cab driver wait while we went into the post office in Hell and wrote & mailed our cards. The problem was trying to think of something to write quickly. Then we ran out back and snapped a couple pictures of the cool, but strange rock formations. Then we hopped back into the cab and went onto the beach (can't remember the name).

We sent one to ourselves and it was fun to get it after were already home!

We were on the land & sea tour and didn't have a lot of time at Hell. Luckily we only sent cards from Hell to 2 or 3 friends; and with both of us writing we made it in time. But the cards themselves have pictures of Hell and also the postmark.

Hope this helps.

This thread reads like the story from Ann Landers column about the dog named sex. :) Too funny!

We sent our Pastor a postcard from HELL :) He found this very amusing..

Hmmmm, I hadn't really wanted to go to Hell but sending postcards from there would be fun! A quick tip for those who want to write quickie postcards while on the run..........Take a sheet of address labels, already printed with the names and addy's of everyone you will send cards to (3 or 4 for each person). Then all you have to do is peel and stick. Saves a little time!! :)

Diva of Dragons,
My Hubby and I do this also. It saves so much time to have the labels ready for those you are sending a postcard too. It also eliminates carrying an address book too.

Although you can buy postcards and make them out ahead of time, I would recommend purchasing them there. I really liked the photos and sayings on the postcards they were selling. I was sure to send one to my brother asking why he wasn't there!! :jester:
