Postcard question

I have just booked a terrific rate during our vacation (planned last july) at the GF, using a postcard code.

Do you need to bring the postcard with you, as my DH has put it in the shredder, not realizing what it was. Will I need to prove this rate? Has anyone booked before w/a postcard and been asked to show it at check-in?

Now I am freaking out.

They never asked me for mine when I had a postcard rate. I think most people would say that you don't need it.

I took mine with me last year at the suggestion of the CM I booked with at CRO. However, I was not asked for it when we checked in.

the postcards from a couple of years ago - required you to show it at the desk and say so on the card.

this one does not.

You shouldn't need it. I received a email postcard for our last trip. I was never asked for it. The code should be attached to your name in the computer, it should have been there even before you booked.

I wouldn't worry.

April 22-30th, $279 b-4 tax, 311.09 w/tax. Almost an $83 savings over my AAA rate, which was $394. Before that it was $439 rack....so from rack to my postcard savings is $128 dollars!!!!!

Now I am tempted to call back and see if what concierge would cost for the same time frame....LOL DH might kill me though, it would be worth it right???

I would just die to get a code for GF. I posted another thread concerning this. My DH and I will be there on our 13th anniversary and that is where we stayed on our honeymoon. Right now we are booked at the WL with AAA rate but just can't swing the GF without a code. I would LOVE to surprise him. Please......codes..........come out!!!
