In Central Ny here. My father who lives with my husband and myself got one today. I called WDW and asked them if we could use it even though he would not be going with us. They told us yes since he was still in the household. THEN I looked at the dates and I had made a mistake... The ones on the card were not for our dates but for around our dates.( we had already booked the AKL and the Yacht club with the AAA discount) She gave us the discount anyway and we saved over $400!!!!
I did make sure she was sending us a paper confirmation so we had it in hand.

I'm in New Jersey. I got a postcard in the mail today. I can't use it. I had received an email from Disney a couple days ago and called and made a reservation at CSR. I wish I could give my postcard to someone but they're not transferable.

Was it light purple and a little bigger than a regular postcard and folded open?

I got that several days ago--maybe a week now--before I knew about this postcard thing. Well, I looked at it quickly and was sure that it was for ordering that vacation planning video.

But now I'm wondering if it was THE postcard???

Ours was big with Mickey and a little boy on the front. Backgound blue. On the back it said $49 for Value resorts and $79 for moderates.
