Postard entries?

I was thinking of starting to send some post cards from the UK but with all the info you put on them and the high amount of personal ID theft is it ok to put these in an envelope before you send them or does it need to be open?

I meant to say postcard entries for Year of a million dreams.

Anyone know whether they accept these in envelopes.

The rules this year state that you can mail them in envelopes. It is just more expensive (at least in the U.S.) to do this. Plenty of Diser's put their postcards in envelopes last year even though the rules did not specify they could and quite a few won. You should be fine.
