We are going to DLRP for a 4n/5d holiday on 23 October, staying at the Cheyenne. We have booked a package including flights as its cheaper and easier. We booked the holiday in March this year, nice and early as last year we had problems with flight allocations.

I saw the internet-halloween special offer of a free extra day/night so contacted DLRP and they said we werent entitled as we had already booked !!! No matter who we spoke to, nor who confirmed our arrival dates were within the offer, no joy, just a "brand new customers only" attitude. We were told to write to DLRP (not email or phone) to query our entitlement. Trouble is they couldnt (or wouldnt) give us an address/department to address the letter to.

We feel really ripped off by this, and the phone attitude of guest relations was really poor. It really felt like they couldnt be bothered to redo the flights and hotel etc. No wonder there's strikes among the workers given the attitude we were shown.

Does anyone on here have an idea who we can write to and which department it would be ?

Hi

I used to be a travel agent and to be honest I'd be very suprised if your holiday gets changed. It is often the case that offers come out after people have booked and I'm afraid that's life. Somebody might leave it for the offers to come out and then not get exactly the flights or hotel they wanted. It's a chance you take. If you do have any joy getting this changed it will purely be a goodwill offer and i wouldn't take this as the norm.

you would have stood more chance if you had been travelling by car as then they would only have had to offer the extra night and not amend all the flight details etc.

I know how you feel as it is so annoying - because you booked so early did you not get offered an early booking disc??? :confused3

Sorry this isn't the news you want - you just have to tell yourself that you have exactly the flight and hotel that you wanted and enjoy your fabulous hioliday. :cheer2:

On tip i'd suggest from past travel agent experience - if you do get in touch with Disney and they don't offer the extra night perhaps you could sugest an upgrade for the time you are there - you would have much more chance of
this. :thumbsup2

Not sure if any of this helps but have a great time anyway. :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc

We had another and pleasant experience.
We booked at the Castle Club for Christmas .
All the papers and the bill were already in our house.
Than we got a phone call from Disney. They discovered that we had a shareholders pass and we had right to a 10% discount.
They would send us a new bill with the compliments from Disney.

Thanks for the replies - from contact so far we will not get the extra stay offer, will not be getting an upgrade and have constantly received a "like it or lump it" attitude from staff no matter how friendly we try to be.

I would have thought booking as early as we did would be beneficial to DLRP, and would have got some slack. Looks like DLRP are just another business in that respect. Oh, and there was no mention of an early-booking discount when we booked.

Its the attitude that has me anti-DLRP at the moment.

I do sympathise with you but guess at the end of the day it's all swings and roundabouts. My Virgin holiday to WDW has gone up in price but they are not asking me for an increase. Nearer the time I expect they will reduce the price to less than what I paid but then again they won't refund me the difference nor would I expect them to.

However annoying it is at least you've got the flights and hotel you wanted. :thumbsup2 And you know you'll have a wonderful time! :Pinkbounc

ETA This doesn't excuse the poor level of customer service though. If it were me I would write to them, at the very least you will have got it off your chest. :) The only address I can find is

Disneyland Resort Paris
BP100
77777 Marne-la-Vallee
Cedex 04
France

This does seem to be the general address for all their departments, hopefully someone else can come up with something more specific. :)

Sorry to hear that you are unhappy. As others have stated this is the norm with "early risers" who book early. I've never had the nerve to take a chance on last minute offers in case we did not get the dates or the price went up because of demand. Much better to have to booked and know what we are paying for ahead of the game :)
