I signed up a year ago next Monday, after finding out about it at Disneyland. For some reason it wouldn't load up the game and kept crashing. So I kind of forgot about it for a while and didn't go back to it until early March of this year. I got pretty addicted to it, and since my whole family has APs I decided it'd be fun to split the park items with my friend Peacefully. It's definitely been a lot more fun having a good friend to play along with. I just haven't gotten to play much lately due to busy-ness and headaches.

I know there are a couple of Alphas around, not many though, as I believe VMK was limited to only about 500 test users at that point

yes I think if you were a stock holder or a registered DISNEY.com user you could do Alpha but you had to know about it...too bad I did not near about it until beta was starting and joined the day after beta started. Do not quote me on that fuzzy memory

I started October 2005. I would of been on much earlier, but I had MSN, and the computer wasn't fast enough for VMK.

Foamy didn't know about VMK untill a while ago when my 1337 friends told me how easy it is to get rich. (At that time I was into mycoke which I am still but not as much. But VMK > Mycoke.)

August 3, 2006 for me. I know because it is the same day i got DSL. And the only reason i got DSL was so that i could play vmk. Sad isn't it? I had tried to load the page to even create a character and it took too long so i gave up. Then when i got DSL it ran like a champ. No more dial up for me! LOL.

I think I joined in either Feb. or March of '05. I used my income tax refund for a 1-day 4-park "adventure" to WDW. LITTLE DID I KNOW, if I knew I could have signed up for VMK while at MK, I would have done that instead of trying to fight traffic to get outta there quicker. and I would have done the in-park quests. But I didn't find out about VMK until the day after I got home.
(and honestly, I was really tired after park-hopping all 4 parks in one day)

Goofy_Bob was born on April 22, 2006 at DLR.

I actually created a character way back in the day, sometime in early '05. I had received an e-mail about this new thing and I signed up to it. But I don't think I ever signed on again after that first time. I had completely forgot about it until some DLR AP friends of mine told me about this Disney game and how great it was. I joined in the park and with their help got a jump-start playing. I've pretty much been an addict ever since.

It was only a few weeks later that I remembered signing up the first time. Of course by then I couldn't remember anything about that Beta original character to even try and see if he was still around. Heh.

I registered for DIS and within a short time found the VMK board and started playing all in the same month.

I joined when I got back from my anniversary trip this past year. We left WDW on 3 April 2006 and I think I joined within a day or two of our return.

Sometime in May 2005. I had green flips and sold them because I didn't really like them and needed credits. We didn't get many credits then.
