30% off Deluxe. I had been fooling with a trip in August and really wanted to stay at Boardwalk. I called just to find out some information, and to my surprise, the CM says, you know you have a 30% pin code for any deluxe resort!!!!. I couldn't believe it, needless to say, I BOOKED: 8/26/13 - 8/31 BWI with deluxe dining.

We were just there last summer, so its not in the budget for us this year, but boy this makes another trip tempting!

I got this postcard a few days ago. Their bookings must be down for jan and feb. That's the only reason I could think of that they would send me a pin that started Jan. 3rd. I may have booked for early January if I had gotten the pin earlier, but now my kids are back at school.
We were just there last summer and I am tempted, too, but the dates don't work for us.

When you open the pin there is a link from there they ask you to input some info then your address pops up and they ask you to verify your address and go from there. I don't think there is a spot on the normal sight, but I could be wrong

Just got the email today for the room discount pin and booked our September/October trip. I had to add 3 days onto our trip to since the last day was 9/27 and we weren't planning on leaving until 9/29 but I don't think anyone will be upset I'm making us spend 3 more days in the world!

ETA: This pin is not a "check in by ___ date" it is strictly for travel dates. Since we are traveling the week after the window closes, the deal was only valid for the night of the 27th and we had to pay full rack rate for the remaining days. Once I did the math I knew something wasn't right so I called back and clarified. I got my hopes up for nothing!

I got the same PIN via email today, we're already booked at POFQ for Feb. 28 with a FD PIN that I received months ago with the same FD dates. I don't know why DGD13 continually gets these PINs, and they're always sent to an email that I never use for my reservations, but lucky for us she usually travels with us to WDW. Nice to see POFQ getting a 20% discount for a change with this new PIN.

So room only discounts you get only for the nights that fall within the offer dates. Free Dining is good for your whole stay, as long as you check in during the offer dates.

She is already booked under the *** deal though so she won't be using it.

So room only discounts you get only for the nights that fall within the offer dates. Free Dining is good for your whole stay, as long as you check in during the offer dates.

I've never booked a room only discount, only free dining. That would explain why I didn't realize they worked differently. Now I know and I'm keeping fingers crossed for free dining since our travel dates aren't flexible.

Me too! I have not even been there since I was 12(I am in my 30's) and was SOOOOOO upset that we already planned our vacation this year and can't afford 2! I never thought I would get a pin!

I'd like to get an idea of what sorts of PIN offers are out there right now and how far out the dates go . If you copy and paste email information, be sure to delete your actual PIN code before posting (although I'm pretty sure no one else can use a PIN code designated to a specific person). No one is really sure how Disney determines who receives a PIN when. My fingers and toes are crossed for either a PIN or a deal for our late July/early August trip.

But I HAVE received PINs that I've applied to trips already booked. Both times the PIN came from Disney Destinations... I think in 2008 it was snail mail and 2012 may have been email.

So, in your shoes, I wouldn't change my reservation-- just start praying to the PIN/ code gods that you get something.

i am pretty much new to all of this but i have a package code that i've received in the mail a couple times for disney value resorts $155 mods at $216 and deluxe at $414 for most stays sunday-thursday 3/7/14-3/31/14

now this might be a silly question, but could a package code be used on a non-discounted room?

My sister received this pin as well. She used to be my DIS partner in "crime" but she went and got herself married and isn't interested anymore She's always the lucky one if our family too!
