We have 12 days left until our next WDW vacation and all I can think about is the food. Thanks for the fix!

That is my most favorite dessert EVER the Kilauea Torte!! When you cut into it hot melted chocolate oozes out, DECADENT!

I have had similar desserts and it isn't something that handles "to-go" very well. After a little while, the cake will get soggy from the melted chocolate inside and then it just gets yucky. So if you can get it to-go, you'd want to rush up to your room and eat it up quick!

olbear: Tell me about the ride with Cinderella and Prince Charming....how did you arrange that?!?

Not to get totally off subject, but can you go to Kona for just dessert if you wanted to?

Peanut Butter and Jelly with cheddar squiggles

Jiko Goat and Sheep Cheese Selection - Cypress Grove's Humboldt Fog Chevre, Montchevre Goat Milk Cheddar, Laura Chenel's Cabecou, Pyrenees sheep manchego, and "Le Cabrie" Goat Milk Bie, with spiced peach jam and crostini

Enjoy!

I'm assuming you are meaning just a "walk-up" to sit-down and get dessert. I'm certain you could, but no idea how long you'd have to wait to get a table. But if you went in, there's nothing that stipulates that you have to order a full meal.

All of these are from Tempura Kiku in Japan at EPCOT

Fruit plate

I think this is a Momo - peach, orange juice and light cream (non alcoholic)

Fried shrimp from appetizer menu - they were big long shrimp!!

Kids Chicken Tempura - I think its called Donald's favorite

DH got the Take I think - it had chicken, shrimp and beef

This picture is from Yakitori House in Japan in EPCOT

I am with you Mister Disney, a huge glass of milk goes with everything chocolate.

Are there any restaurants besides V&A where you cant just go and get dessert and a drink (well and the buffets of course)

Well, alrighty then....just how did you ask for the menu? I have been wanting to have some to keep for years, but I can never get up the nerve to ask and when I do it's all willynilly and I am told "No, sorry". :sad2: So, for our next trip I was planning to just take photos of the menus...unless you can give me some hints on how to score a menu or two....

Thanks!

Just ask if you could keep the menu. I've gotten menus from Kona, 'Ohana, WCC, Le Cellier, Chefs de France, CRT, etc.

They're just paper menu and they print out thousands of them. Just ask your server. They'll be glad to give it to you.
