MMMMM I'm so craving a sanwich from the Earl of Sandwich right about now!

Keep the pictures coming everyone!

These are all from my dinner with my DF at bluezoo in October 2007:

Adam's First Course: Sashimi

My First Course: Clam Chowder with house made Oyster Crackers

Adam's Main Course: Miso Chilean Sea Bass

My Main Course: Bacon Wrapped Ahi Tuna with Sauteed Spinach

Adam's Dessert: A Strawberry Trio including a 24 karat gold Strawberry

My Dessert: Chocolate Mint Dessert

And then my favorite... We've eaten at Boma on two different trips this year and both times, the Head Chef TJ has made us a kick butt complimentary dessert: Deep fried oreos drizzled with chocolate sauce. YUMMMM!

I love the presentation on the Bluezoo food but worry that with me being a fussy eater I'd struggle to find something simple enough on the menu for me.

The desserts look amazing though!!

And Deep Fried Oreos, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Oh my!!! I wouldn't mind going just for dessert! That Chocolate Mint dessert looks heavenly  . How was the 24 karat gold strawberry?

Good...but peculiar. It was hard sugary 24K gold shell that the strawberry had been dipped into. You had to break the shell with your spoon first. Very tasty though.

Thank for the Blue Zoo's pictures, the food looks amazing, we might have to give it a try.

sarcsticblonde,

The Blue Zoo food looks great! How did your Dh enjoy the bacon wrapped tuna? I had to show that to my Dh b/c he is a huge fan of Ahi Tuna. We may just have to try this restaraunt next time after seeing those pics!!

Thanks for posting the Blue Zoo pics. We just got back last week and BZ is now our new favorite place!!

IMO Blue Zoo is the best restaurant on Disney property that we've been to. Pictures do not even do it justice but I'll try: First is the classic flatbread - tomato, basil & parm. 2nd is the amazing shellfish platter which is served with 4 dipping sauces. 3rd is the signature dish - Cantonese lobster, which is enough for two - incredible!! 4th is the chilean sea bass (best fish I've ever eaten) and 5th is my son's surf & turf, which he'd already dug into by the time I got the camera around to him.

Kathy,

WOW!! That lobster looks amazing!! I can't believe I never gave this restaraunts' menu much of a glance (mainly b/c it was not on the dining plan :) ). It is now a definite must-do next time we hit the world. That and the sushi bar at the Dolphin.

We had sushi at the new Teppan Edo, California Grill, and Wolfgang Puck's last time. It was so nice having world-class sushi and dining at our fingertips there. It is sooooo necessary to eat good food after you've lived in Alaska for a while.

I was born and raised in the Orlando area so am not accustomed to our complete un-variety of restaraunts here in a small Alaskan town. I guess thats one of the trade-offs for beauty and a tranquil community ;) (or just being here to make my Dh, who cannot be dragged from the mountains for risk of compromising his sanity, happy).

Sorry for such a long post. I was kinda rambling there. Great pics!!

Well, I am the one that had the Ahi Tuna and it was awesome. DF is Jewish and not a huge pork eater - the bacon on the tuna - but he did try just the tuna itself and really liked it. The sauce and the spinach were great accompaniments.
