Fizz13 - thanks for posting those pictures of San Angel Inn. The food looks good. How was it? We have ressies there on Sept 9th (b/c we couldn't get LeCellier) and I was a little apprehensive but the Plato Mexicano looks good.
Which restaurant did the fried shrimp come from? Looks good.
ummm, ok honestly? i wasn't blown away by it. For the price you pay, you expect more quality, and on the plato mexicano the steak was just well done and not a good cut of meat, the enchilada was nice but no different to the counter service outside, the beef flauta lacked flavour, and the only redeeming point was the rice. I would have been better having counter service outside. having said all that, the tortilla soup was a knock out. I think out of 10 it rates a 5 on service and quality and i would go back if I couldn't get anywhere else but i wouldn't stick my neck out to get a ressie. I think it could depend on what you order, as the other entree my friend had was yummy, so try something different, you might be pleseantly suprised.
YIKES! You are here too!!!!!Samantha Brown was on the Travel channel today at Beaches and Cream by the Beach Club resort and she ordered their "Kitchen Sink" YUM!
What's the drink in the front, by the shrimp. It looks like it says Appletini, but I'm not sure. I always thought that was a mixed drink. I didn't know you could get it in a bottle.Lunch At AKL, fried shrimp and a falafel
