OMG this looks soooooo yummy right now! I love steak sandwhiches. I've been on a diet for two weeks now and this one really got me going, guess I should stay away from the Food Porn thread while dieting, eh...lol.

Not DD, but it's the Turkey Sandwich. They also have a fantastic Club Sandwich. We love the Plaza!

Yup! It's the turkey sandwich minus the tomato. It was very good.

Cinderella's Royal Table
Pan-seared salmon with rice and some sort of veggie slaw.
The salmon was a tad dry but had a good taste and the rice was also good. I did not care for the slaw at all.

I'm not the one that posted the picture, but I did just have this dish a couple of weeks ago & I thought it looked a lot better than it tasted. I did not care for Tony's sauce at all, which I thought was bland. I thought the whole dish was rather dry & tasteless. We loved Mama Melrose when we ate there last Dec. To me, the sauce at Mama's is much richer & a bit tangy, but that's the way I like it.

It was really good! I was really surprised, as I hadn't heard good things about it here on the boards. But, I really liked it. It is large enough to share - DH and I split it.

I can't compare the two, as we have never eaten at Mama Melrose's. This was DH's plate, and when I asked him - he remembers it as being pretty good. He doesn't like spicy food, so that may be why someone else says it may be a bit bland. But, he is a big fan of Italian, and pasta in general. He liked it.
