***Post Your MNSSHP Costume Ideas***

I'm so jealous everyone!! I can't go this year, but am already planning next years trip during this time, and ended up at this post. There are some awesome ideas on this thread!!

Next year my BF and I are going with two other couples...I'm trying to convince everyone to go as the group from "Clue". The only extra prop I'm hoping to make are the cards. I'd put them on a key ring and give each couple a set...then when someone asks what we are we can just grab the cards..."kitchen...Professor Plum...lead pipe"...

And one of the best costumes I've ever seen (that wouldn't really work at Disney though) was for a couple: a plug and an outlet. Two boxes is all you'd need.

Not sure what DH & I are going as but trying to talk DS into going as Napolean Dyanmite. That's what the kids at school call him without the bad glasses. We don't want anything to elaborate b/c of flying with enough luggage already.

October 21st is our first MNSSHP!
DD will be minnie mouse
DH will be a mad scientist (complete with white hair)
I will be a witch, but nothing too elaborate as i am 7months pregnant and will be just wearing black pants and a black sweater haha....i thought the hat was too cute to pass up!

We'll be there on the 30th! But I'm wondering about how early people show up in costume! I posted a thread, but no one replied

So---will we look strange if we show up at 4 or 5 in our costumes? I was trying to figure out a way to change if we're at another park, but I hear the locker area is under construction.

Yes, there will be people at MK in costume at 5 p.m. - it was like that two years ago when we last went.

We are going 10/16 and I finally got costumes together.

DS4 - he asked to be Goofy, so he's wearing light denim shorts, an orange t-shirt and I made him a brown vest out of felt-like material. We will buy him a Goofy hat when we get to WDW. He is convinced he must wear brown shoes to look like Goofy but hopefully he will wear his white sneakers. I might try to paint them brown to appease him. Sooooo literal.

Me (DW) - black t-shirt and shorts with a witch's hat and some other minor witchy things. I might get crazy and put glow in the dark paint on the t-shirt to spell "witchy" or something like that.

DH - I found him an orange "I Love Witches" t-shirt at Walmart. I wasn't sure about being a witch but the t-shirt sealed the deal.

DD2 (a month shy of three) - She still hasn't narrowed it down to Cinderella, Snow White or Princess Jasmine. This morning she was adamant she was going to be Minnie Mouse. We're just taking all the dresses and she will have to make up her mind sometime.

Help! DS (12) is a drummer and plays bass guitar. RnR is also a favorite ride.

Any ideas for a RnR costume that would not look like a regular kid wearing a Disney T-shirt? He has RnR drum sticks that he could carry around but that would not be very much for a costume.

Any ideas?!?!?!?!

First time poster long time Disney dude.

I will be there 10/21 will my familey and little cousin.
Look for me, I will be there as the Rocketeer (yeah Im old school)
oh and dont mind the gun, I wont be bringing it (dont want any trouble) It was just for effect

Thanks Chrissy, I made the entire thing myself save for the boots and gun. The jacket, pants, Rocket, were made by me. and the helmet was finished and painted by me. Thanks again!

DH and I will be going to our first MNSSHP on the 28th and then board the Disney Magic on the 29th. Since we'll be cruising over Halloween, we decided that we had to get some costumes. He's going to be Peter Pan and I'm going to be Wendy.

We will also be there on the 27th, I'll have to look for you. We are thinking about going as Pittsburgh Steelers fans since there will be 13 of us, but not sure yet. Can't wait to see the pixie dust costume. Have fun!!

My DM and DAunt as Main Street Trolley Dancers, DGrandparents as Pirates, Me as Belle in her yellow dress and my boyfriend as my Prince, and two family friends, who haven't decided if they're dressing up or not. We got to see some of the fireworks from Ohana a few nights ago and I couldn't believe how they lit up the entire sky, I can not wait to see them from inside!!!

October 16 - We saw your husband!!! Did he take the wig off at the end of the night near the exit to the left side of Main Street? I totally remember that purple toga!!!!

We dressed up on the 13th and the 16th! It was a great time!! The 16th was VAN HELSING's day! (my husband ate it up - lots of people got their photos with us) it was awesome!! Here are some of my photos!

My friend and I went to MNSSHP on the 11th as Betty Rubble and Wilma Flintstone. We saw lots of Disney costume of course but my favorite were The Blues Brothers. It was so much fun, We were leaving Mk on the 13th and saw a group entering as the Gilligan's Island bunch. They looked so good too. Lots of creative people out there. I felt the party was well worth the $$ for the parade, fireworks and the party atmosphere oh plus lots of candy too. I wish lots of pixie dust for everyone for lots of fun and good weather. Enjoy.

My DD (she's 8) and I are going (again) on 10/28 - we went on an impulse the beginning of the month too - where in a WEAK moment, I bought her the beautiful red Belle costume (almost $100 inc tax). She changed into it and wore it for most of the evening! She looked cute, but I didn't get any pics. Before the end of the night though she had changed back into her yellow NSSHP tee-shirt - her attire of choice! She had better wear it on 10/28, 10/31 and to her wedding LOL! I think it's going on EBAY later!

I probably won't dress - I've never been much into Halloween, but my child loves it!
