Mater and McQueen make appearances serveral times a day. There was no special event happening.

Yep! I love taking pictures of all the extra touches Disney gives, such as decorative light fixtures, themed furniture, etc. My kids make fun of me for taking pictures of odd things, but I just love looking at all those special Disney features.
