I remember last time I was waiting to cruise DCL there was a thread like this and it was so much fun to read. I couldn't find one using search, so if there is a current one, please point me to it.
I'll start:
The last DCL I did was a four day with my best friend... we left our kids and DHs behind and went for some attitude adjustment.
During sailaway we got the see-thru plastic DCL logo cups and, feeling maybe just the tiniest twinge of guilt (or not), we decided these would make great things to bring back for our kids. We noticed people had abandoned them here and there and set out to collect some to take them back to our stateroom to wash. I guess we got a little overzealous, because we both ended up with a bunch... more than we could comfortably carry, anyway. Note that we each had about half a drink, so we are not even feeling it. Anyway, we go inside on deck 9 to catch the elevator and the ship is swaying somewhat so our footing isn't as good as normal, and we're almost dropping these things, so we start giggling. There were some people around the elevator and some that got in with with us and they were all giving us "The LOOK." I'm a little slow on the uptake sometimes and had no idea why. When we got back into the stateroom and went to put them in the bathroom I saw us in the mirror as they must have seen us... two people with a bunch of just finished drinks who obviously had impaired motor and control issues and who couldn't even be on the boat for an hour before they were 3 sheets to the wind.
Then we left them to dry on the bathroom counter, so I can only imagine what our stateroom host thought of us as well!
This wasn't even all of them:
