Post your funniest story from a Disney Cruise!

"Bump" basically means "I'm not saying anything but I want this thread to move to the top of the list."

In this particular case, dta87 found a old thread (that is fun) and has bumped it up so new posts can be added.

And I wish I had something funny to add! Well, I COULD tell you about what kcashner did on the EBTA, but I'm sworn to secrecy! :ssst:

Which day??????

OH, remember how DCL markedly cut the cost of the cruise following the EBTA AFTER I'd bought non-refundable air? They've done it again for my next cruise. I actually looked--doing the next sailing as a B2B would have been over 6K. They have now reduced it to 2K, but we already have air. Silly DCL. They really don't want my money!

At the time, this was not funny...but everyone that hears it tells me differently!! :lmao:

On our very first DCL cruise (2006) My DD (just turned 3 at the time) LOVED the kids club. Both kids begged every day to be left there. It was formal night and we left them there and then at 8pm went to check on them. They were playing happily and we decided to go to the hot tub for a little bit. My kids typically are in bed around 7:30pm (of course, we stay up later on cruises!) so thinking it was getting late we went back around 9pm to get them.

I found my DS right away and started looking for DD...I could not find her ANYWHERE!! :scared1: I did what any good mom would do and started FREAKING OUT! OK, I wasn't that bad, but they did call a CM Manager over to help us find her. I searched everywhere with them (including the bathroom)...I even looked under the closed stalls to see any little feet.

Well, this whole thing only lasted about 10 minutes (too long for me) and finally the manager said, "Ma'am, is this your daughter?"...and calls me to the bathroom. She had opened a stall to show my DD in her BEAUTIFUL formal princess dress asleep sitting up on the toilet. She had TP in her hand and had done her business (...and stinky one at that!) and just didn't get around to finishing!

Of course, I was mad they had "lost" my DD, but it was quite a sight. Of course, we picked her up, cleaned her off and she NEVER woke up the whole time. The next morning she said, "mommy, I don't remember you getting me?"

No pictures were taken! :rotfl:

This story had me laughing and tearing up.
What a GREAT story. But don't let her know you posted about her 'stinky' business. :lmao:

NOOOO kidding! I think she would disown me! :lmao: I have to say I wish I would have taken one picture since her dress was completely over the toilet and all you could see was the "throne" beneath her...it would have been good material for those dating years!! :rotfl2: Is that wrong?! :rolleyes1

Totally NOT wrong!! :rotfl: Take a picture, thats exactly what I would have done! Oh they are SO precious, and grow up way too fast! My baby girl will be 19 next month!

Awww how precious!! I can see my DD doing something like that.

A few years ago on our first cruise our DD was 3 years old. Now my DD has always been perfectly well behaved. We had taken her to many 4 and 5 star restaurants prior to the cruise all with no incidents. She is a quiet child with a big, beautiful smile. We had a WONDERful 4 days onboard. No problems in the clubs or at dinner.

Well, at the end of the cruise we gathered our luggage and were walking through the parking lot to our vehicles. My DD innocently asked "where are we going?" I replied the cruise is over...we are going home.

She screamed "NOOOOOOOO!!!! I don't want to leave" With that she started walking back toward the ship. There we were 7 adults with luggage trying to chase down a wayward 3 year old. Once caught, she did the "limp noddle" thing that kids do. She would not budge.

I had to physically carry my little girl to the van and strap her in. You would have thought we were kidnappers!!! We were all panting, laughing and sweating from capturing our stowaway wantabe!

I can't blame her!! I want to do the same thing when I realize the cruise is over!!!!

Lol, I just spent the last 30 minutes reading some funny stories from this thread. Good idea to "bump" it :) Now, if only I ould think of something funny to post!

I just sat and read this whole thread from start to finish. I need more people!! Please share if you got them. And hopefully I will have some to share soon.

This wasn’t on a Disney Cruise but I think it is funny and it will bump the thread.

We usually cruise with family, including my parents. My father likes to sleep on the balcony so he can hear the ocean. He has resorted to sleeping on the floor of the balcony, wrapping up in the comforter and using a pillow from the bed.

Around 3am he woke up to a loud roaring noise, thinking that the ship was going to be rammed, he starts scrambling to his feet. Then water starts pouring into the balcony, soaking him, the pillow and comforter so now he is thinking tidal wave as he is scrambling to get through the balcony door. The drenched comforter is wrapped around his legs and he falls into the cabin.

It was the automatic window washing machine that washes the window above at the buffet restaurant. :lmao: :rotfl2:I’m not sure how they explained how all the bedding got drenched to the CS.:lmao:

He was ok, thankfully, just wounded pride.

Might as well...

I have a strange phobia of public bathrooms. I refuse to use them for uh, certain activities. I don't mind my own bathroom in hotel rooms (or my cruise stateroom), but I absolutely cannot use the stalls elsewhere.

Anyways, it was Sunday on the ship, and I was down watching the Cowboys lose another game, and munching on the wings and nachos and drinking beer. Lethal combination. About halftime I suddenly had to "go". I know, I know, TMI...

I got up, and began to walk rather hurriedly back to my stateroom. It gradually turned into a walk/run. Sweating, I got down to my room, the door is open, and the cleaning cart is right outside. Oh well. So sorry, pardon me...hop into the bathroom and WHEW...

Relieved, I walk out, and as I enter the hall, my wife suddenly walks out of the room next door...

"Uh honey, what are you doing in that room?"
