this was a few years ago but dh was being attacked by briar bear. (he literally came out of nowhere and almost plowed into him, I just happened to catch the moment with my camera. . . . .
YEAH, arliepooh68, you figured it out! I can totally relate. Everyone around me knows I am a relative of Dory because my memory just ain't what it used to be. I can't even claim it's because I'm blonde! I like to blame it on having kids. Nothing like a good thread to get you motivated! The photos were so worth it. Thanks for sharing.
NostalgicDad, I bet you never thought your claim to fame would be arm wrestling with Tweedle Dum. How many other people have actually done that?
These have all been great!!!!!
Keep em coming guys! MORE, MORE, MORE!
Last halloween DD & I went to Mickey's Halloween Treat - DD ened up coloring with Wendy, Peter Pan, and Captain Hook. No other children were near by. Here are the pictures once they all finished with thier art!
ok I found some more. Some of my favorites are from our '05 trip. We were waiting in line to meet Minnie, when all of the sudden someone tall came up and put his arm around my husband! He was like "wt..." then looked and it was his favorite! GOOFY. He was bringing a flower to Minnie. SO cute. you can see my dh holding the flower. hehe
then finally getting up there to meet Mickey, our dd just didnt want to have ANYTHING to do with Mickey. (this was our whole trip.) so she stood off to side. just look at her face! we actually got one of these printed, before the photopass...so they put the 50th anniversary thing under her. it turned out cute. this one. not so much. haha
Every time we go, we do the same pictures in Mickey's cars. Its so fun and I Love to see how she has grown. These are just the ones still on the computer.
the first are from '05 then the last two are from Thanksgiving '07
HEre's a few more I found.
My son was DEFINITELY not getting any closer to this pirate than he had to...that's one mean look on his face
He was not about to give up on this in ToonTown...I literally had to peel him away from this. He kept saying "but mom it's almost out"
Why oh why did my BF have to check his glasses while riding Space Mountain is beyone me LOL I mean could he see anything anyway LOL
Also the look on my nephews face next to me looks...well like he was hurting LOL
I've posted this one before but I just LOVE how excited he was to meet Buzz finally on our last day there.
I think he got this look from his mommy...."No mom..I"m not leaving, you can't make me get on the plane to go home, I'm NOT leaving Disneyland"!
OMG I have a picture from Space Mountain where I am moving my hair out of my face. its classic. I will have to find. I Love those moments when you are doing something at the wrong time. priceless!
My family is in the front 2 rows. My DS6 looks terrified but he ended up smiling before it was over. I have no idea who that guy in the back is but his expression cracks me up. I think he's really enjoying himself!
I finally found one I rememebered from several years ago. It is from Goofy's character breakfast. Goofy had dropped by our table and was being his usual self. Here he is shown giving my DD's puppy a drink.
I also found another I thought was pretty cute. It is from the Lilo & Stitch character breakfast. Lilo & Stitch were visiting my DD at our table. Lilo had been making halos out of the leis they give out. When Stitch came along she wouldn't let him have one for obvious reasons! So they clowned around some more. Very cute.
We were at DL on a rainy day and went to see Mickey. While strolling through his house, we saw Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy. As we got to the end where Goofy was hanging out, Pluto came walking up and they started playing with DD. Goofy was tickling my DD:
During the same day, we stopped to get pictures in front of the castle. I was trying to get non-posed pics, but DD saw me taking pictures of her and decided to pose. This is the first time that I have ever seen her pull this pose out:
