I have a Fast Food one that tells you the calories and fat content of fast food at most restaurants. Helpful!

Pic2shop lets you scan something in a store to see how much it is at other places including how to order it online if you see it at a different price! I wish it showed more other physical stores (it may, I just got it so haven't used it much) instead of mostly online.

I also like my Battery free one that tells me how much time I have left on my battery, since the battery life is not very long.

Also, I have pac man, centipede (ok that one was .99) (takes me back to my younger days) and bejeweled (ok that might have been .99 also, ) games for when I need something to occupy my time (like I have much need for that, lol, but still fun).

OK, nobody has mentioned the following:

Genius Scan - AWESOME scanning program. I use it to have a file of all my Business Cards. Takes full color photo, can organize, and can forward the image to somebody else. I also snap images of articles or cartoons from newspaper to share. Finally, I retain images of important papers, like auto insurance card and the like. Can't over state this app.

ShopSavvy - UPC Scanner. Gives Local and On-Line price comparisons. You getting a good price? Or maybe another local store is better. You can also add to the database with photo, price & location.

IMDb - Internet Movie Database - Just like the website, movie reviews, info & even TV Schedule.

Flixster - Best Movie Previews and Info. Great to fill a few empty minutes.

I like to play casino games, here's one free, and one well worth what I paid:

21 Pro S - The best FREE Blackjack Program I have found. Very flexible, very real, I can count cards, and it is a true deck. Some complain the dealer wins too many times, duh, it's a fact, you can't win every hand, you must learn basic strategy, and "know" when the deck is in your favor. Only the player can vary the way they play, the amount they bet, and double of split the cards. The dealer cannot. But, don't get me started! LOL

Aw Craps! - OK, I paid for this, I think $4.99, but this too is just like a Vegas Craps Table. Betting suggestions, will give you the confidence to approach a real table and you will be able to navigate all the the betting options. But beware, that 7 is always lurking.....

Oh, just one more if your a NTN Buzztime Fan. There is a Playmaker App that works great. Go into your local bar, you don't have to hope to find an available game board, just open the app, and your playing the current game from your phone!

OMG - mapquest! Is this just like the computer one? I love that, I like it much better than a GPS that "recalculates" everything and practically screams "TUUUURN" right as you drive by the exit I need to know two or three steps ahead to feel comfortable when I'm driving. So if I use this en route does it just give me a page of directions like the online one and I can screen shot it for reference? That would be fab-u-lous!!!

One would certainly think so...I know at the time they were only allowing a certain amount of free downloads, but they should at least offer a paid option

this is the way I upload photos from my Iphone to Facebook - whether it's the best way, I can't say:

Go into Facebook on your Iphone and into photos. Pick the album you want to upload to. When I go into (let's say) my Mobile Uploads album, there is a camera in the upper right hand corner. Tap it. You are then prompted whether you want to take a photo or choose from library. If you say, choose from library, it takes you to your photos on the phone. Pick the photo you want to upload, hit upload and you are done.

I had trouble uploading from my new iphone too to FB and never could get it to upload a photo. I deleted and reuploaded FB to my iphone and then it worked. Of course now I just tried it and it is saying try again later like it used to. So this may or may not help you.

I had this problem. I googled it and I had to change my settings but I can't remember it exactly. Go to your settings, Facebook and it's something to do with your push notifications.

I half way lied.



try that, it worked for me:

1)Go to Settings
2) General
3) Tap into Location Service (Should be on)
4) Scroll to Facebook and turn it ON. (if it was off it means that it's 99% this that was preventing it)
