Im starting to think about what to serve at our DP and would love to know what you all had, how you liked it, photos, and perhaps pricing? Our DP will be at the whitehall patio..any info, insight, advice, anything on our DP and location would be greatly appreciated! TIA Ladies!! :goodvibes

We haven't had ours yet but it will be at Epcot. We were given a price of $32 pp. We are having chocolate chip cookies, black and white cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate peanut butter marshmallow squares, cheesecake bites, s'mores, fresh fruit and chocolate covered Mickey rice krispie treats.

Here you go! Ours is 3 weeks from tomorrow, so hasn't happened yet! We combined a few different menus together - wanted to make sure there were options for everyone. Oh, and no nuts, since DF's mom is allergic. It's 33/pp.

Tiramisu
Cheesecake
Chocolate éclairs
Tarpon Springs Baklava
Chocolate Fudge Brownies
Linzer Diamonds
Cream Horns
Fruit Tarts
Fresh Fruit Display with Biscotti and Warm Chocolate Ganache
Fruit Punch
Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, and Selection of Teas
Flavoured Syrups and Sticks, Sugars, Cream, and Honey

We chose menu 3, it included dark & white chocolate fondue, dipping items like fruit, marshmallows, pretzels and it also included an assortment of mini pastries. I wasn't crazy about the pasties bc no one could tell me what they were beforehand but everyone loved them. Very tasty :)

We are doing our DP as our rehearsal "dinner" and it will include:

Fajita Station
Grilled Chicken with Onion and Beef with Pepper Fajitas with Flour Shells, Lettuce, Cheeses, Salsa, Sour Cream, Guacamole, Olives and Jalapenos

Dessert Station
Chocolate Éclairs
Pistachio Cannoli
Warm Chocolate Banana Torte with Rum Glaze

Pomegranate Lemonade, Coffees and Teas

BOC open bar

We had menu 2, which I think was called "A Kiss Goodnight". We got rid of the linzer tarts and banana passion cups and added mini coconut tarts. The tirimisu and the strawberries were the best. My best advice would be to consider the weather. It was so hot the night of our wedding that the cheesecake lollipops were melting and no one really wanted to drink warm chocolate shots. I would probably have also done something like Mickey treats that people could take since there was a lot of food leftover. Here's a pic.

I love the fajita station idea, would you mind telling me how much that cost you?

THANK YOU SO MUCH! Yall really helped me out! Sara, your pictures are gorgeous its only 8:30 my time and they make me want some dessert! :lmao:

I had one at my prereception and it was $11pp. And it was DELICIOUS! Everyone at my wedding still talks about the fajitas and how good they were.

Thanks! Do you know if you had the fajita station plus dessert if you would have to meet the F&B min. for dinner or would it still be considered a dessert party? Like, Sago Cay has $1000 F&B min for food but only a $500 F&B min for dessert parties, which would that be? (hope that makes sense)

I had mine at epcot and had the international cheese and flatbreads, assorted cupcakes, mini cheesecakes, chocolate eclairs, chocolate brownies, key lime tarts, fruit tarts, cream horns and fruit salad this all came to just under $40 per person.

Here a couple of photos of the set up:

I don't know, I think since it's an appetizer it may not trigger the dinner F&B min but you'd have to ask your planner. how many people are you having? My DP minimum was $500 at Sago cay but with my small party of 26 people I went well over $1000 with just dessert.

We are having between 18-20 people, we are doing an escape wedding and I would really love a DP, but we can't afford to hit the $7500 min, so I was thinking of going through private dining (there was another thread about that), but I wanted to see what the cost might be. We can almost book (in the beginning of Feb) so I was looking for an idea. Thanks so much for your help!

Sorry for highjacking your thread Sarah!!

Our entire menu is $28 pp, and I was never told anything about having to meet a F&B minimum for my DP, we are over $500 with food, and with our estimated BOC bar we are over $1,000 with F&B, but I don't think having something like a fajita station will change the DP minimum to a dinner minimum.

We're getting a fondue station for $10pp and for an extra $22pp we're also getting mille-fuilles, rice krispy treats, strawberry berry tarts and chocolate mousses. :lovestruc

omg this thread makes me so hungry! Did anyone bring takeout boxes and take the leftovers home? (I'm not even asking because I'm cheap, but because I love dessert!)

My MIL brought Ziplocs. :thumbsup2 Disney's official policy is that no food leave the venue, but at every DP I've been to the wait staff is practically forcing leftovers on you because otherwise it gets thrown out.

Thank you for starting this thread! I've been thinking about having a DP for our VR in April. I've contacted my planner to get pricing/menus but I haven't heard from her. :headache: It's frustrating when you're trying to plan and stick with a budget and don't get any information! But that's another story!

Thanks again for this thread!

I've got one planned for this summer for my nephew's birthday and our big family gathering. We will have 15 people.

Ours is in EPCOT and here is the menu:

Tie-Dye Cupcakes
Chocolate Brownies
Crispied Rice Treats
Cream Puffs

Punch/Coffee/Tea

Then we added milk too which will be billed on consumption.

It is $23.00/per person

It is basically the Marceline menu with a couple substitution. The cream puffs & Crispied Rice Treats were what we substituted.

Has anyone done the ice cream sundae menu with the rootbeer floats, etc for $27pp???

We are doing that one for our welcome party in Epcot but since we are expecting 80 people our planner said she could get it down to $24pp by taking a couple things out like the fruit salad. If anyone has pictures I'd LOOOOVVVVVVVVEE to see them to get an idea of how it looks! Thanks!
