I shared this thread with DH and his eyes near popped out of his head!! He agreed that we have been sadly, sadly wasting (waist-ing? haha) our credits (as he put it: We buy all those cookies to 'give to other people' but we never give them to anyone). Now there's a whole new world of snack credits to explore!

Which makes the next 60 days seem that much longer...

The imfamous schoolbread (which if you don't like cream filling, like boston cream, you won't like it...like me)




I have more but my computer is being a poop so I'll post them later.

We tried this and were so not impressed. I expected it to be sweeter and not as dense.

Schoolbread is not my cup of tea either. I saw the Butterfinger cupcake at Starring Rolls on a thread and tried it last year and did not appreciate its qualities either.

Luckily there are so many choices that you would be hard pressed to NOT find something you like though.

Might I suggest that you all give Writer's Stop at DS a try next trip? It is off the beaten track and has some of the best looking snacks I have ever seen and most are on the DP.

I did not like schoolbread either. But I did like the Butterfinger cupcake-but cannot be eaten at one sitting or must be shared.

I second the Writer's Shop recommendation. Every time I visit DHS, I visit the Writer's Shop.

The napoleon at the French bakery at Epcot. This thing was delicious, but we had to buy milk because it was so rich. This was my favorite snack I have ever had at a Disney park.

These snacks are HUGE!! It seems France really outdoes itself in providing some of the biggest portions

It appears to me 'we' also are going to saty a little while in France b/c the Pastisserie seems to produce some of the best 'snack credit' value and taste wise of all the WDW!!!

I wish I could tast one just one napolleon right now (we know this pastrie as 'thousand leaves' = 'mil folhas' around the pastisseries in Brazil)

This thread just kills me! I want to eat almost everything I've seen picture and I want to eat it now, darn it. I haven't even eaten dinner yet; now nothing sounds appealing in comparison to dole whip floats, huge cookie ice cream sandwiches, cream cheese pretzels, german chocolate cookies...

Whenever I manage to get back to Disney World (goodness knows I've tried), I am going to be a madwoman with no restraint. I'm small and can't eat much at once, but after seeing these pictures, I absolutely insist on having a few bites of everything.
