Post your dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Party 2009

Our plans sound almost like Ifwhipp! Our first trip to the World and staying at Pop. :cool1: Planning MNSSHP on September 22nd and will do some counter service so as not to miss anything (or maybe do TS at LTT). Luggage space is at a premium, so not sure what we'll wear. Just look for two excited Washingtonian girls!!!!!!!:hippie:

We'll be going to the Sept. 18 MNSSHP. I've never been and it looks amazing! My daughter is 3 and we will be with her Nana and aunt on this Disney adventure.

Updating,... check if I miss your dates....

Halloween Night.... October 31st for 8 of us!!

Our MNSSHP night is Tuesday, SEPT 22nd

I'm going as Wendy, my DH will be Peter Pan and my DD(4) will be Princess Aurora

We will be there October 6th!

Sept 4th for us! We already had reservations for Labor Day weekend, so MNSSHP is a bonus! Will probably just eat CS or pick up something on the way to the Orlando.

I plan to be there for the party on the eleventh, my first and on my very first solo trip too. Does anybody know if you can use package pickup or have the purchases delivered to your hotel during the party?

:goodvibesWe'll attend the parties on Sept 4 and 11. I am so excited, but still have not made plans on where to have dinner yet!

The boys and I are going to the party on the 11th of September and we plan to have a late lunch/early supper at the Crystal Palace ahead of time.

Were going to go Sept 4 and eating at LTT:love:

we are staying at the pop from sept 2- sept 13

Not 100% sure yet, I either want to go to MNSSHP on 9/29 or 10/1. I was thinking of doing dinner at Tony's or maybe somewhere in the Grand Floridian!

I'm not really a costume person, probably just wear a halloween t shirt! But who knows, I could change my mind in 5 months!

Please put me down for Sept 18, thanks!

This is our arrival date so I am not going to make any ADRs for this day nor will we be soaking up any park days going in the AM for this day so we'll be eating at Captain Cook's at the Poly then heading over to MK around 3:30-4PM.

We're going twice, September 22 and September 29.

Undecided on food. For the 22nd I think we'll do Kona early since we'll still be staying at the Poly. By the 29th we'll be staying at Boardwalk Villas, but I think we'll have a late-ish lunch at Raglan Road in Dowtown Disney that day.

October 13th for us.

DH and I --Sept. 22.
Staying at the Poly.

Planning on CP for dinner.

Staying at the POP, going to 2 MNSSHP on Sept 22 our arrival day and on the 29th eating at Cosmic Ray's, the kids will be dressed up as pirates.

Sep 22nd for us too!! Staying at POP family is dressing up in Alice in Wonderland!!

Oct. 2nd for us! :yay:

I can't find mine on page one :confused3

Better let you know again - Sept 4 and 11! Thanks! You're doing a great job!

September 18th for us :woohoo:
Not sure on ADR yet ;)
Probably won't dress up....too dang hot! :confused3

Sept. 22. Family of 3 staying at CBR.

With an ADR at the CP hopefully! Just DH and I...
Does anyone know how to buy tickets - can you do it on the Disney site, or do I have to call somewhere....Thanks!:goodvibes

Oct 1 (my Dsis and I). Staying at BLT. Not sure about where we are eating. We are toying with the idea of Ohana. But if we go with our tradition MNSSHP dinner it will be LTT (only if the characters are back though).

Not sure if we are dressing up.

We'll be staying at BLT 10/20-23 before we move to OKW so I'm hoping to go to MNSSHP on 10/22. We are going to try for dinner at CP, but only if I can get around 4:15 ish. Our plan is to get there are 4pm and use our party ticket to get in, have an early dinner and hopefully get some rides in before the party starts.

My kids don't know we're going, this is so hard to keep a secret :scared:.

It looks like we're going to go September 25th since that's the opening day for the food festival over at Epcot, so we're hoping MNSSHP isn't as crowded!

We're actually staying at Bonnet Creek, but also have a room at Pop Century so we could get the deluxe dining plan and parking (what can I say, it was cheaper than two rooms at Pop booking us that way and two-thirds less than going with a 2-bedroom at Saratoga or Old Key West with the same dining plan option!)

We are going 9/22 and if we want more we will do 9/25 too! :woohoo:

We'll be there over Halloween, but are choosing to go October 27th. I'm hoping it won't be quite as crowded. :confused3

Sept. 15th. My husband is super super excited.

Just wondering if they have announced which nights will be AP nights? I know last year AP holders could get cheaper tickets on specific nights.
Thanks

We are doing September 11th, hope to get a reservation @ Chef Mickeys that night! does anyone know if you can use a gift card to buy your tickets in advance?

Going on Sept 4th as a suprise for my little sister! Totally NOT telling her.

Don't think the DBF will dress up either.

Any cute ideas for a big sister, 10yrs sister costume?

were going 9/22...planning to get early dinner ADR's at Crystal Palace.

Going on Sept 4...this will be our first time going to the halloween party. We're having Lunch at 50's Prime Time that day so we'll probably snack through the park that night.

I'll be there the 11th also dining at Crystal palace :cool1:

Sept. 22nd for us! We're hoping for an early ADR @ Crystal Palace. :cool1: Trying out the TreeHouse Villas for 10 days! We can't wait! :)

Umm.... timmy? You're going to ban me from your thread, LOL. :scared:

Can you believe I changed my plane tickets already? :rolleyes1

Darn Southwest and their wonderful no-penalty policies. They need to take away those $58 each way fares, fast, before I change things again. :rotfl:

Anyway, I was nervous about not getting any discounts for the dates I chose, so I moved back up to 9/30 - 10/7 so I could at least get free dining if something I like better doesn't come along.

That means our MNSSHP dates are now Thursday 10/1 and Tuesday 10/6.

Sorry for being such a pain. :flower3:

Going Sept 4th....will probably do CS that evening

Yep-you've opened a can of worms! :) I see you just returned from your trip so I hope you had a great time!

We're looking at 10/1 and haven't confirmed our dining choice yet. We're considering LTT, The Plaza or Tony's. We haven't eaten at any of these restaurants - any opinions from anyone on which one you'd pick on MNSSHP night? We want to do early dining like most others as well...

Can't wait!!! :cool1:

Sept 29th for us :) - Counter Service before hand either at park or MK
Cathy

Hi Everyone, we are going on 9/22 and 9/25 and staying at POP. this will be our first MNSSHP trip and we are super excited. as for ADR's, we have decided to do our TS for lunch and catch a CS for the party so we dont lose too much time with the party. No idea yet if we will dress up or not as of yet, but i am thinking about at least matching shirts and mickey ears if we dont do costumes. I Cant Wait!!

Oct. 25 or 27 for us. Probably eat at Plaza (my choice) or CP (kids' choice). We'll have to flip a coin. ;) DH is easy going and will go with the flow.

We should set a time and place to meet and take a picture to post on the Dis :dance3:

We plan on going either October 13 or 15. Does anyone know which would be the better date to attend in terms of crowds?

Hi Donna - You will most definetely have to tell me how Wave is if you try it. It's on my list to try too!

I would think the 15th as some of the Columbus Day weekend crowds might be gone by then.

You can remove me from September 29, but my other dates are correct. Thank you! :goodvibes
will do!!!:thumbsup2

We will be there Sept. 11th. I think we are going to eat at Tony's or try the Wave for the first time.

Tickets went on sale this morning! A day early, yay! We'll be there Sept. 18th. It was an AP discount day, so for 3 adults and 1 child, it was $202. I saved $17 off the original quote. Not bad.

I ordered mine!! Funny though I though for 9/4 the cost was 48/ticket
but I got charged $55.38 per ticket then they wanted to charge me 6.00 per ticket to ship them to me... WTH?? I said no I want to pick them up at my resort... they said we don't do that.. I said we did last year.. so they honored it...
So maybe I got the price wrong but I wasn't paying to ship a ticket to me...
no way.
does anyone know if that price is correct?

adult tix are 55.38 and child tix are 48.99. and it costs $4.00 for shipping to your house..not 6 per ticket..idk where they got that:confused3

so there is no discount this year for advance purchase for non-premium days then.. just the $55/ticket... Yea I don't know where she got the $6/ticket cost to ship - but I am now picking them up at the hotel instead so I don't have to worry about that.
