I would like to try the Croc flip flops but really wanted to see what others thought. I absolutely love my Teva's.

I have some real trouble with healspurs, are these comfy and supportive for heal spur suffers?

That was my main motivation for even trying these UGLY shoes!! I mean UGLY UGLY shoes... I thought orthotics inside my gym shoes were ugly - and my pain gets severe - ankle swells...

But with the Crocs, my feet are NOT complaining!!

Good Luck!

Hi guys,

Answering a couple questions.

Someone asked about the flip flops....these are the Niles. I have a bright orange pairs. I don't like them nearly as much as the Beach style, BUT they are still very comfortable and I'm sure I'll bring them to Disney with us (we're going on Feb. 9 - CAN'T WAIT!!!). One thing I like about them is that they have "notches" cut out on the sides where the little bone is by your small toe....so your feet don't feel constrained at all. The only thing I am not so crazy about is that you have to wear the strap on your heel....the strap is very long so it looks pretty silly when it's flipped to the top.

As far as heel spurs go - I don't have them personally but I will tell you that the straps are SUPER comfortable. You hardly notice they are there unlike other shoes. I normally just wear the straps on top but when we're at WDW I will probably use the strap - makes it easy when you want to walk a little faster. You can also stretch out the straps, which is nice.....just be careful so you don't stretch the part where the strap connects to the shoe.

For all of you who have feet problems, arthritis, etc., be sure to check out Crocs website.....they have a testimonial page where you'll find TONS of people w/ different problems. My boss has rheumatoid arthritis so has problems w/ her knees....she is also an educator, so depending on what class it is, she'll wear her Crocs if she's on her feet all day.....makes a world of difference. And I wear my Crocs to work whenever I can get away with it. i have very wide feet and in the past my feet would always ache at the end of the day - but with Crocs my feet are totally HAPPY all day. And like some other posters mentioned, I will actually wear them around the house and will put them on BEFORE my soft fuzzy slippers!!

And one other note - I have even been wearing them this winter! Not on days when there is lots of snow. But if I wear some socks with them, my feet really don't get cold.

Can't ya tell I'm totally HOOKED on my Crocs???!!! :)

I just ordered a pair for my DD and me today. My husband just bought a pair of Keens today, too. I can't wait to try out the Crocs! :cool1:

It seems in the last month or so, all of a sudden everywhere I go I see people in Crocs. It seems like every girl in my DD's ballet and gymnstics classes have them and most of the moms too!

I have WIDE feet and they fit me great! I use my Crocs for only wet weather though. They're very comfortable but since my feet sweat ALOT, shoes without socks are not comfortable for long.

i have both real crocs (cayman and aspen) and the payless knockoffs. the payless ones make my feet sweat a little more in summer than the real deal. otherwise they are just as comfortable.

today i saw the target and walmart ones and they are TERRIBLE! hard plastic! not softer foam like crocs and the payless airwalks.

i wear mine every day. best thing that ever happened to my wide feet. now i can't wear anything else!

For those of you who were asking about Crocs in kids sizes. I got my 20 month old daughter a pair of the Payless ones in a toddler size 5, so the Payless ones come pretty darn small. They are soooooo cute too! I am tempted to string them together when she outgrows them and hang them from my car mirror! I got her a navy pair, and a pink and purple swirly pair.

I have never seen the real Crocs in toddler sizes, but the cheapo ones come pretty small.

DD is 2 years old and I got her pink Crocs at Sports Authority. I thought they looked so cute on her I got myself a pair also. They are very comfortable. We live in Hawaii and even in our hot weather my feet don't sweat in Crocs. Great for gardening, walking on the beach, etc. so would be great for WDW.

My DH says Crocs are ugly. I compared the Crocs to our pet english bulldog...I told him yup....Crocs are sooooo ugly that they are cute! Just like our bulldog pug:

Y'all just got me to buy my first pair- Beach version in black. Love them! Next step- a pair for DH! He is on his feet hours at work and I hope he can wear them there.
Thank you everyone! Pass on the addiction! :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Don't mind us... just sharing with you a few of my fave colors...

ok, after seeing all the hub-bub about these crocs and seeing them everywhere, I am probably going to get some.
BUT..... what color do I get?? I want to start out with a low-key color. WHo has the butter color, that looks nice, or how about khaki or chocolate. Those two seem really dark though.

I personally did not like the butter color. I loved the Khaki ones however.

I was at Wal-mart yesterday and tried their version of the Crocs. I had on my red Crocs while there by the way. Their version is extremely hard and does not give at all. Very uncomfortable. I had one of theirs on one foot and mine on the other and there is just no comparrison. Please do not be fooled into buying the ones at Wal-Mart because if you do you will absoultely hate them.

On Oprah Tuesday Faith Hill and Tim McGraw were filmed going grocery shopping. Faith stopped at the Croc display and said something like "OMG! These are SO comfortable! I'm getting Oprah a pair!". Tim said "With socks! Crocs with socks!". :goodvibes

I just ordered the chocolate ones, I have the black and the navy. I tend to get the ones that blend in w/ the pants I am wearing. :thumbsup2 I dont care to make a statement w/ them...they r too ugly for that. At least w/ the neutrals they kinda blend in w/ what I am wearing ...at least that is what i've convinced myself anyways!

Those are some ugly shoes!

The Athens style isnt so bad but I really dont think I could bear to wear any of the others!

:sunny:

OK, after all the discussion, I broke down and ordered some. As I wanted the Red ones and the local stores here didn't have the Red, Beach, Med., I ordered off the Croc site.

I am a Flip Flop for everyday (even have flip flop socks) and Teva Sandal for park person. I hope I love these!

BTW, anyone know how long the shipment will take from the Croc Company?

Lisa

Thanks for the Payless post! I am going to take dd1 and dd2 over there this weekend. They love the Crocs and try to get a pair all the time. I just can't stomach spending $30 for them to destroy. DD2 is extremely hard on shoes. Think a new pair of tennis shoes monthly. She went through 5 pairs of sandals June-August last summer.

DD1 might be okay with real Crocs, but we'll try the payless version first. She'll love the tie dyed ones.
