Thanks for all those who gave a heads up to recheck our National reservations. I got mine down to $271.42 for 9 days in a SUV.

I assume that's a good price? (I'm new to car renting.)

I've made two reservations for a convertible. The first one is with National for $387. using a contract code, $20. Ent. coupon and WE3DY Product code. The other is with with Dollar for $367 going through Southwest with code WN917. This is for June 3-12. Can anyone find a way to beat this??

I decided to use the priceless code 6600330 and BJ'S coupon 10009013 and got a rate of $121.23 for May 8-15 ,7 days.

This is EA and NO concession fee. I know people have used it and haven't gotten billed,but with my luck................

Hey it's only $10.00 difference,but I'd rather have $10.00 in my pocket than MCO's.

I have two National Emerald Aisle reservations:

The first one is for August 21 at 10:00a thru August 27 at 4:30p (7 days) and the lowest I can get it is $184.10 TOTAL using Contract #5129799 and $20 coupon. Of course, if I make the drop off and pick up time the same (but its still considered a 7 day rental) the price drops $30 to $154. but I really need the car those extra 6 hours so I guess it's worth the $30 for 6 more hours.

The second one is for Oct 30 at 10:00a thru Nov 7 10:00a (8 days) and the lowest I've been able to get it (just last night) is $214.14 using Contract #5760339 which is the Carlson code and a $20 coupon. I'm a little nervous about the 'variable' rate though.

I'm bummed with these rates as last year I paid $110 total for 7 days! I've never had to pay more than $200 even for a 10 day rental!

I'm hoping the rates come down before my trips.

I am thinking of renting a mini van for our vacation to orlando and coast. Seems like there would be more room for us in it than our PT . I got a quote for a mini van for a week for 304.00 (including taxes and fees) out of ATL unlimited miles.

Is this a good price or can I do better?

Here's my experience:

$97.58 for full-size with Carlson Leisure for May 26-29.
Pickup at MCO and dropoff at CCC

It said that there was no EA available! Also, we had wanted to dropoff at the Wyndham Palace at DTD but it didn't look like that was available, either! Also, it said something about CCC being closed at our dropoff time (11:00 PM) and there would be instructions for us at our pickup location. I'm worried that we won't be able to get back to our resort if the CCC is closed when we drop off.

Any help with any of this you all can give me would be very appreciated!

My minivan rate is with National. 10 days for $298 total. You guys tell me, is that good?

I have a second reservation for an intermediate w/ EA. If there are no minivans on the EA I'll go with the minivan ressie.
