Post your 9/29 discount here!

We've got a 7 day park hopper at Poly w/dining on 12/10-12/17 for 2 adults and 3 kids (1 over 9) for $4141, a savings of $248. I didn't realize I could also go thru AAA and get the code discount off AAA rates. Since it's still just on "hold", can I now switch to AAA and get that discount also?

First off - Mav - Thank you in advance for any help you can be to me!! :goodvibes Unfortunately, we can't be flexible with the dates per se because we have non-changeable plane reservations. But - we may be able to do the 2 resort thing. It's sure nice that you know (for example) that the last two nights may be my problem. I can't find anyone to give me that kind of info! I wonder what night(s) are an issue at POFQ?

Secondly, zachnlucy or anyone else - my AAA TA and a Disney rep swore to me on the phone that there were AAA rates OR these Y-code rates but no combinations to get even better rates. If anyone just knows this to not be true and the ones that I am working with just don't "get it", I guess I could always cancel the res I have (I'm still outside the 45 days) and book with a new AAA TA?) I just would be afraid to cancel first like the TA said I would have to do..

Jen,

I went to see my AAA TA this morning. I gave her the YQE code and she called Disney. She was on hold for about 10 minutes, so we chatted. She told me that AAA has a dedicated TA line to CRO because they are the biggest booker of WDW vacations. When she got through she gave them my current ressie # and the YQE code to see if it could be applied to my ressie (I already had the AAA discount). They told her that the code that needed to be applied to AAA packages was actually ***. They then quoted her a new price for the WL based on the discount code-that price was cheaper than my package with just the AAA discount, but it was the same price as the YQE code ( I called CRO first thing this morning just to be sure whether it was worth it to make a trip to see my TA and received a quote for WL using the YQE code). My new ressie # is the same as my old and they did not have to cancel my old ressie and make me a new one. As a mater of fact, my TA had my documents for my trip and CRO told her that I can still travel with the old documents, they were just going to fax her an updated itinerary, but sine my ressie # remained the same they didn't need to reissue them.

I was able to upgrade to Courtyard View at the WL for our November 18-25 Thanksgiving Week stay. Savings to be about $700 or so. It was lovely to catch this discount even if it's not such a big one!

I am just happy to be getting this upgrade and still paying less than if we were in Lodge View! Now I'm hoping for those bunkbeds... ;)

I orginally had a package Nov. 1-7 with dining, 7 day park hoppers, CSR water view for 2548.68 (3 adults). Changed to AKL standard room same dates with dining, 7 day park hopper for 2588.88!

Hi Jen.... I did some research and here is what I found for discounted rooms.

Caribbean Beach standard room - Is available for the entire stay (November 29 - December 6) Looks like all room view types are available. Don't know if you dislike Caribbean Beach, but the savings are pretty substantial.

POR - Is only available December 3-6. That won't work. Since you'll need park tickets when you arrive, the discount package must come at the frint part of your trip.

POFQ - I can't find anything there for any of the dates.

All Star Sports - Is available for the entire stay (November 29 - December 6) Looks like both room types are available. I personally don't like Sports as it seems to be the loudest of the three All Star Resorts.

All Star Music - Is available for the entire stay (November 29 - December 6) Looks like both room types are available. This is where we usually stay. We get a preferred room and I just love the place. Can't beat the price.

Pop Century - Nothing.

AKL - As mentioned above, first 5 nights are available in a Savannah view. You would need a separate room only reservation for the last 2 nights. It's easy to check out and back in though. As long as the views are the same between the two reservations, they won't make you move rooms.

Wilderness Lodge - Nothing.

The only deluxe that has complete availability is Saratoga Springs.

Hope this helps.

I had a AAA package, POR, two rooms (standard and king), 3 adults, 1 child, 5 nights, 6 day hopper with dining for a total of $2967.89

My AAA agent got the same exact package at $2611.37. A savings of $356.52. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc  :bounce:

I am very happy. Luck was on myside for once. Today I had to make my final payment. So now I can relax until our vaction :rotfl:

:cool1: :cool1: I saved $314.46 with one phone call and one little code YQE! :cool1: :cool1:

Thank you Dis and Thank You Mousesavers! When I booked my trip I had no idea about these boards so everything was at rack. I booked online through WDW - 7 night MYW with dining at CBR, 7 d park hopper, 2A, 1C, 1 infant with insurance $2486.82.

Now $2172.36. Wooohoooo! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cheer2:

Mav - Thanks for the help. (How do you know all this?) Do you know the price for the package for the AKL for the dates available? Or do I still need to call in to check? I think they just closed for the night 5 min ago. Shucks!

I don't have anything against CBR - but if it is the same $1335 that I was quoted for the POR - then I may not want to change away from POFQ for less than a $100 savings - especially since we already have the refillable cups, etc. for POFQ. YOu know?

What do you think of CBR?

Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We (DH, DS2 and me) are staying at POR for 7 nites, 8 day park hopper tix and dining plan. Original plan 2625.18 now 2250.46 ($374.72 savings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Had the option to upgrade to AKL standard view for $175 but DH decided to take the credit instead.

I called tonight to make a reservation for 12/9-12/16. I asked about the package deal for WL and she said (by the way I spoke to the nicest, most helpful CM) that for 6 nights for two adults including park hopper passes for a Courtyard view (the cheapest room she had available, she said) it would be $4600. (Maybe this included dining? I don't know how it could be so much. But I really didn't want to do the dining plan) I about died. But then I asked if there were any discount codes under my name (like they say to do in some WDW travel books) and there was!!! I got one night standard room at YC for $225 (with taxes included) and 6 nights at WL Courtyard view for $205 (with taxes included) per night. That adds up to about $2000 with 6 day park hopper passes!!! I love discounts :lovestruc

6 nights at POP!
1 day base ticket
Dining.

I save $350.00 off the package I booked back in Jan. :cool1: :cool1:

I have to be paid in full on Tuesday and I owe 150.00 so it will be paid on Monday.

Okay Neverland - I"m a novice - I really don't understand the "Are there any discounts under my name?" Explain....

Also Maverick - I guess when I wrote you last you were gone for the night. If you get my last post, can you write back? :teeth: Please?

Thanks.

You know - earlier today this couldn't be booked on the website - at least I didn't see it - just on the phone or through the TAs - and some like mine aren't all that interested in doing anything with it - but now it looks like you can. So - I just went out there and tried myself even though it is nearly 1am CST - and I got "our booking engine is currently down for maintenance" - maybe they are loading in the info. Who knows. Or maybe this was out there hours ago and I just missed it since it wasn't there earlier today. Was my destiny that this thing was NOT going to work out?
yes I'm feeling bummed out....(maybe because I'm tired)...
Jen (again).

WDW trips:
6/05 - Yay - me, DH, DD and DS - POFQ
8/04 - Me, DH, DD and DS - stayed offsite except for the last night - stayed at AKL!
5/03 - Disneyland - the 4 of us! DS a newborn!
9/01 - WDW - Me, DH and DD
8/94 - Me pre DH
8/88 - Me and dear old Mom and Dad :-)

AAA package for 2 adults/1 child 5 days/4 nites at POP w/ 1 day passes and dining was $882.00. TA called and said I can now get it for 715.50! Nice savings for us!! Oh yeah! We're actually going 10/22-11/1, but the first part of the trip is DVC renting points at WLV. With my savings I can squeeze in two more sit downs for the first part of the trip! :dancer:
