I had a room only booked at WL for $1137.36 for four nights (rack rate/courtyard view). My tickets at the Disney store were going to cost me $902.07(3 adult, 1 child 5 day hoppers), for a total of $2039.43.

I called and booked the package YQC. Now the cost is $1872.54. This is a savings of $166.89. Not much, but it will cover a meal or two, or just pay for my MVMCP tickets. :cheer2:

I have the standard room, tickets, and dining plan. Before YQC, total $3,546.14, after, $2,451.48. Whoo Hoo!

Marie

That's great!!!!

There are no discounts available (rooms sold out) during time that I'll be at CR. :guilty:

?? YQC - that's package without dining???? I hope a typo?

11/8 - 11/12; I got ASMu for 4 nights, 1 day base ticket, and dining plan for 1 adult for $418.55.

I was originally booked at POP under the BRP, but this package works out better. The CM let me move my 1 night non-refundable BRP deposit to January. So I didn't lose any $ and now we are staying at POP the night before our Disney Cruise. Not as convenient as a port hotel, but at least i didn't lose my deposit!!!

I can't wait to take advantage of the dining plan!!

OK, here's mine. Originally had preferred room @ ASM, 9 nights, dining, and premium tickets (hopper plus water/fun), 2A, 1J, 1C for $3081. Now I can get:

POP preferred view (nothing left @ ASM Dec. 14 - 23) $2787

POFQ preferred $3266 (this is the one I took)

AKL standard view $4051.

I really wanted a deluxe resort, but I am on a budget. I've only stayed @ ASM and CBR. So tell me if I chose right. Thanks guys! :confused3

I love POFQ! It's a nice resort and easy to get around. I tried to book it, but it was full when I called. One of the benefits is that all the rooms are close to the pool/food court and it's the first stop on the bus (it then goes to POR). F@$200 more it's a great choice. Have fun!

Well, we didn't get any money off, but we were able to upgrade to a lagoon view room at the Grand Floridian for only $150 more for 8 nights with YQE!!!!!!

Disneymoon here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!

CBR 2 adults; 1 jr; 1 child....dining......7 day park hopping tickets...11-30 thru 12-07 (7 nights)

Rack: 2763.75

had AAA discount...2555.54

New price....2449.00

I'll take every little bit I can get!! :cloud9:

No, what that means is nothing is available for your dates of 14-23 at ASMovies.
We booked Dec 12-17th at AS Movies and got it just fine:)

Thanks to this web site and Merrie at Dreams Unlimited, I saved almost 500 bucks. No kidding.

I emailed DU earlier in the week for various quotes. After much consideration, I finally settled on the following:

4 nights at POP for 3 adults and 1 child
2 rooms
Dining plan (4 days)
Park Hopper tickets (4 days)

DU's quote was $2,254 (after I subtracted the trip insurance, which I decided I didn't want for the price). This was essentially rack rate on everything, as far as I could tell from the Disney site.

Then after seeing all the hoopla on this site, I started to wonder what to do. I was a little concerned that if I waited until today to book, availability might be gone. So I emailed Merrie at DU yesterday and told her what I had decided (above). I was a little concerned when I didn't hear from her all day.

Then late yesterday I got an email from her - she waited until after hours to submit my request so it would be in the system first thing this morning. What a smart lady....

My final quote: $1,788. The only change is that we will be at AS Music instead of the Pop.

My own little bit of magic for the day. :goodvibes

They're going fast!!!

I'm on the phone now and having trouble finding a room with the code for 12/1 - 12/6!!! I wish I saw this first thing this a.m.

That's what I get for doing work at work!

Okay all - I now have a discount - told there wasn't one at 9:00 this morning, but did receive one - so please be persistant and keep calling is my advise.

Long story - I booked our package over a year ago on the old dream-maker package for 3 nights only at WL with no dining and a separate room only reservation for the 4th night-standard room. Called this morning and told they had no more discounts. Called again this afternoon and had my entire reservation changed into a 5 day 4 night MYW with park hoppers, courtyard view, and added dining plan for only an additional $179.01 for 4 adults and 2 kids and 2 rooms. Thanks so much to Bill at WDW travel for his help and guidance.

Also, as we cancelled the room only reservation for the 4th night when upgrading our package - he did not charge us the cancellation fee and we are only 27 days out. Great Service and lots of help and Pixie Dust. :wizard:

I am thinking that with the addition of the dining plan we are actually going to save at least $400-$500 so I am so grateful! I immediately called dining and added on Le Cellier, Chef Mickey breakfast, Japanese restaurant, and Boma. We are going to be like Vettechick and start grubbin and boozin around the world. ;)

I was already excited and could hardly wait to go - now I am so fired up that waiting 27 more days is going to be excrutiating! :bounce:  :Pinkbounc

12/1-12/5 at Coronado Springs (5 days/4 nights) std view, 7 day base pass, no exp for 2 adults/2 child

Rack Rate: $1599.72 ($181 savings)

AAA Rate: $1475.92 + $49(AAA membership) $1524 ($106 savings)

New Pckg: $1418.56

The savings were worth the hassle. Now, trying to decide if it would be worthwhile to add dining. What do you think?

Using code YQC: 6 nights at POP from 12/11/05 through 12/17/05 with 4 day base tickets is $1,249.12. If i choose not to get the base tickets and go room only it's standard rate of $515.10.

Breaking it down it comes out to $734.02 to add the tickets to the room which is basically $183.12 per ticket. Currently a 4-day base is $185.00, so i'm basically saving $1.88 per ticket.

Pricing it out separately comes out to the following:

6 nights@Pop = $515.10
4 base tickets = $740.00
Total $1,255.10 which is savings of $5.98. :rotfl:

Just got back from my AAA TA's office. We had 3 nights at the POFQ with 2 day base tickets and dining booked under the AAA discount for $1152. My TA was able to use a discount code (she gave them the YQE code, but they told her that for AAA packages to use code ***) and upgraded us to the WL for $115 more! We've stayed there before and wanted to book it again for this trip, but I couldn't justify the addidional $300 to stay there. I told myself before I left home this morning that if I could upgrade for under $150 then do it. Disney also waived the $50 change fee for me since I was upgrading and not just asking for a refund for the price difference. My family is going to be so surprised. We're going on DCL Nov 5-12 and I booked Nov 2-5 as a surprise for them. They think that we're flying in a few days early to bum around Port Canaveral before the cruise. I don't plan on telling them that we're going to WDW until we are in the terminal and heading for the luggage claim area. Now I've just got to contain my excitement about the upgrade-I still have 3 1/2 hours to jump around the house until my kids get home!
