post your 40% deals here....

jstbcuz, you got two rooms for $778 at a Value?

I booked one room at a Value for the same dates and am paying $389.20, including tax.

Are you counting the tax on your trip?

I would not want to overpay.:cool1:

Slightly Goofy, who likes CS and not paying tips on overpriced food, especially when the service is less than magical

Yes our total is 778.40, but like someone else said if divide that in half ........it is 389.20 which is what you are paying.

I am changing dates due to the pin code but my numbers don't seem to be that great. Right now I have booked 10/5-10/12 at the regular rate. I'm changing it to 9/26-10/3 which will be value season and my 40% off pin. I'm only saving about $400...I was excited at first thinking it would be better than that, but it wasn't. So, I'm hoping FD is offered for that time and I will just change my discount if I can because it would be about a $1000 savings for my whole family!

Geez...I didn't get that flyer/e-mail and I would love that discount. It sounds like I need to hop over to the WDW official website and register for their 2009 planning video. That seems to be the only way I ever get these discount deals.

Another Hoosier checking in here:cheer2: Hi SG:wave2: We have Pop for 12/2-6 standard room(drum roll..............) for $221.44:cool1:
Linda, can't you stay an extra day? I'd hate to miss you:grouphug: I have to be careful with the boys school otherwise I'd stay longer:rolleyes:

Hey SG, I'm just down the road in Jeffersonville. Cold but not too bad today. However, would be better if I was in Florida :earboy2:

Eeyore's-tail-tack, I told a fellow Buckeye that joke when we were at DW last year and she asked my permission to use it on matching shirts for their next trip. :rotfl2: I would never say that if I were not one myself. In Athens they have the worst Appalachian postcards and I get dirty looks for buying them by the dozen until I explain that I am a local myself. :cool1:

mom of princessx2. if we were always in Florida we would not appreciate it. However we do need to be there more often and we would not be spoiled, would we?

Bonz, it is my fondest wish that they will extend the code to cover some more days as seven just is not enough but I thought I had better book what I could, just in case. I kept looking for you poolside after that first night but no one ever showed up again. I was so disappointed.

jstbcuz, I was just funning with the other poster. It was a cold and boring day and I felt like causing a little bit of trouble. :wave2:

MomofCKJ, the cheapest hotel at DW is still better than most more expensive places elsewhere. You will have a great time at POP. I am always for more days and less money. Truth be told I think the Values are better situated to many of the parks, if you are driving. You will save money that you will need for all the cold drinks you will be drinking that time of the year as well. :upsidedow

We received it by email on 1/8 from Disney Destinations. I am unsure if there is any rhyme or reason as to who or when but we never recvd one before and since Oct this was our 3rd and best. Our previous trip was Nov 07. However it might help that I am signed up on every Disney site that is known to man!!:lmao:

What if your planning your first trip, does that mean we have no chance at a 40% off?

i love seeing all the good deals!! i still have to book my dec. trip under the 40% code. we've never stayed @ a deluxe before (we did stay @ SSR on that free upgrade) but this would give us the opportunity to stay @ WL during the holidays for $174 a night and i'm going to do it!!:cool1:
good luck dissers!!

Posted this some place else also so sorry if someone has already read it. About 2 weeks ago opened up my mailbox and there it was. A 40% off postcard. After taking it in and dreaming and reading all the dates times etc. I looked at the front and it was addressed to my friend and my address. I called and was told sorry only the person whose name appears on the front can use it. Totally bummed out. Lo and behold that same night in my email inbox was the same offer. Yippee. So as of right now I am booked at POFQ Aug 23 for 10 nights. This will be our 3rd trip to POFQ in 4 years(stayed 1 year at OKW) Would like to try something diff. but DD(7) likes it at POFQ and since its such a small resort less walking for her little legs. My friend also might go for the 1st time with his 2 DD's so if we can go at the same time I will book the Ft Wild Cabin for the 5 of us You know when I went the 1st time with dd I figured we would go every 2 or 3 years. Like I said this will be our 4th year in a row. You just can't beat the Disney Magic. Every year I ask dd if we go on vacation this year and before I can finish she says DisneyWorld. LOL

I booked today for AKL. Although I got the pin in an email, I didn't take it with me to work. She was able to give me a code which is similar to the pin I received. We'll be there from Aug 23 -30. 7 day tix and dining for 2 adults(mommy and I) and my two daughters (15, 5) for $2,989.33. I am just thankful for the discount....:cool1: :cool1: :cheer2: This will be my first time at AKL and I wouldn't be able to stay there without the discount.

November 15-22: 3 nights AKL savannah view bunk beds $234 + tax/ night and 4 nights Poly garden view $249 + tax/night. Yeah! We wouldn't be going back so soon without the 40% off!

For those folk from the UK who were wondering about this discount - Did you know Disney UK are doing 14 nights for the price of ten and 7 day park tickets for the price of 14 for folk from the UK? It might not sound as good a deal but with the poor exchange rates right now, it really is a good price. It's worth checking out the prices on their site and seeing how they work for you.

:) So excited! We got a pin code in the mail and are taking a last minute weekend trip to the world Feb 6-9. We are staying Poly club level for 291+tax per night. This will be our first club level stay and can't wait. It will just be nice to be in some warmer weather as it has been below zero here for way too long. This was our first pin code ever and we have been going to Disney at least twice a year for the last 5 years. So you never know when you will finally get one!

A heads up, I got the 40% code in my sister's name. I had made a ressie for her years ago and since then things arrive in her name to my address. When I called I explained the situation and had no trouble at all getting it transferred. Has not always been thus though. I believe that they are desperate to fill the rooms and are being more lenient. I also think the CM fixed it so things would come in My name from now on.

I got the 40% Code sent in my maiden name to my parents. I applied it to YC, standard view, October 25-30, 2009. I got two rooms and made them packages, with the discount only applied to the room-rate. The total was $1933.28 per person (room) including 5 day passes with PH and deluxe dining. The internet rate for the room only was More than that. I was hoping for Disney Visa free dining for the fall since I used it last year, but using the spreadsheets it would not pay-off compared to the 40% with it being just one adult per room! Now I am already hoping for something for next fall, maybe a bounce-back in the room when we get there!

I didn't take offense at all. I never understand people getting so upset by a simple joke. My son on our last trip to Outer Banks saw a shirt that read " I have issues" he wanted to buy it, he hasn't forgiven me yet for not allowing him to buy it.

Eeyore's-tail-tack, I did not think you were offended. Anyone with your screen name has to be as laid back as I. :thumbsup2

I plumb forget that folks cannot see my silly grin as I type.

I booked 6 nights at the Beach Club 9/26 - 10/2 for $201 per night!

I also booked the Beach Club 3/1-3/4 for $273 per night!

Both of these were booked using a 40% off pin.

ski:)

And FYI the 40% off pin was cheaper than the AP rate !! (for the March dates)

That is what I tell my husband when he sends me certain text messages. It is hard knowing how it is supposed to be taken when you cannot hear the tone fluctuation or see the smile.
