Just booked online - 7 days at CBR for 1 adult, 2 kids (Disney adults) with base tickets - $1415. CBR is the only mod available for my dates (mid January) - don't know much about it, hope the kids will like it. Of course I got a pin today for a $54/night at a value in December. I really wish I could use that one, but just can't do it! May add QSDP later.

ETA Just found Southwest fares for $54, woo-hoo! Wish I could get it under 2K, but at least it will be close.

There is just one thing better than starting our WDW vacation in less than 2 days..............Booking our "next" spring vacation ( with the 4/3 deal) and then going to WDW in less than 2 days.

I usually get kind of depressed on the last couple of days at WDW, knowing that my vacation will soon be over, but now I can just keep telling myself....only 5 1/2 months till our next magical trip.:wizard:

I just spent 35 minutes on the phone with Disney and was told that the deal ends March 27, 2010. Last year as long as your stay started before the deal ended you got the 4 for 3 special. I was just told that that rule does not work this year. We are checking in March 27, 2009 and were told we could not have the deal. When I called yesterday I was told something completely different. Looks like we get nothing.

This is completely untrue information. We booked the 7/4 deal for 3/25 to 4/1. It took some time to do because the CM was using the wrong code, but we found the right one (needed to use the code linked with seasonal dining prices). When it opened up online, I also checked for dates in February starting just before and going into Presidents Week (a blackout date). I was able to find the same reservation using the 7/4 deal for those dates too.

If you are getting no where with a CM, try pricing it out yourself by clicking on the special offer link on the Disney World website. Or, try using one of the travel agents that specialize in Disney (Dreams Unlimited, Small World Vacations). They can get a quote for you at no cost.

Just curious...what are your dates? I was looking at Jan 15-23rd and wanted to stay at POFQ only because I haven't stayed there in 18 years! CBR would be fine, but I like to switch around. :)

Thank you for your help. I tried booking the deal on the Disney World website and I still don;t seem to be getting the deal. The price is only $141, cheaoer then the full price. I contacted Disney directly and was again told that the 4 for 3 deal would not apply because we were checking in on the last day of the promo. The room is $240. per night with no discounts. To me that means my price should be dropping $720. The CM I talked to was very friendly but I still have been unable to book and get the deal.

Did your price go down the equivalent of three nights for the room? I really appreciate your advice.

I contacted Dreams Unlimited and Small World Vacatins as you suggested and am waiting to hear back.

Let me know if you did get the three nights hotel off. It will motivate me to keep trying if I can know someone else got it to work.

Beach Club 1/10-1/17

We've booked 4/3 at POR for 3/13-3/20 with the dining plan. 3 adults and 2 children. $3594.08. This is a saving of $997.50.:banana:

Just booked the Polynesian for 4 adults and one child and one infant (no cost of course) for March 13 thru 20th, Garden View, 7 day base tix, for $3500 (approx cost) could have gone with POR for the same price that included dining...so I am considering switching but would like to have monorail access so it is a toss up at this point...but for now we are at the Poly. Our first home away from home... :cloud9:

I think you'll be much more comfortable in a Poly room than in a POR room. You'll have a much larger room, 2 queen beds vs full size at POR, and a comfy daybed vs trundle bed. If you ask for one of the newer longhouses at Poly those rooms are even bigger.

We booked 2 rooms at CSR Dec 13-20 for our family of 6 (me, dh, 21 yo, 13 yo, 11 yo & 6 yo) ---includes 8 day parkhopper (no waterparks) and dining.

total ---$4679.47
