For all of you Target fans, out there -- keep in mind they will be opening at 5:00 a.m.. this year (instead of the usual 6:00 a.m.) for the "2-Day Sale"...

Just got back from Target. Bought the TomTom GPS system and Gossip Girl Season 2 at full price. Target will refund difference if they go on sale within 14 days. I won't get the extra $10, but now I get to miss the crowds and make sure I get what I wanted (they only had one of the GPS units in stock). Yes, I had to shell out full price ($249 for GPS and $44 for Gossip Girl), but will be getting refund of difference in 9 days.

Yeah, but the Target sale doesn't start until Friday, November 27, which is a full 16 days from today...

Careful, I did that 2 years ago and they were NOT going to refund me the difference. Said something about special Black Friday prices, blah, blah, blah. A mini-psuedo fit did get my $$ but I wouldn't do it again.

My area Targets absolutely will NOT give you the doorbuster price on previously purchased merchandise. They even got the dstrict manager involved last year and he was quite clear that they would not be giving adjustments.

Our Kmart posts a note on the entry doors stating that they will not price match any products that are being sold on Black Friday.

My area Targets absolutely will NOT give you the doorbuster price on previously purchased merchandise. They even got the dstrict manager involved last year and he was quite clear that they would not be giving adjustments.

Mine won't do the doorbuster prices but they will do the other stuff in the ad as long as you are there that day or Sat (when the ad is still valid.)

Cool. The things I really want aren't doorbusters. I'll buy those in advance. If I make it to Target in time, then I 'll grab some doorbuster stuff, too.

I am going to get the Itouch for $295 for the $30 giftcard offer and hopefully they will give me the extra $10 gift card for spending over 100. This would make the itouch like $255 in the end.

The 29.99 Down comforter and the 49.00 portable DVD player is on my list. Neither one is a Doorbuster though, so can you get them online? When do you think those sales will go live?

Is the TV for $246 good? I see it's 720hp, I thought 1080 was better.

I don't think our Target does price adjustments. Anyone on Long Island ever do it?

Have fun everyone! 5:00 is so much better. Now our Target won't have the crowds that went to Kohl's, J.C.Penney and Best Buy first.

The 32 inch TV is a 720, and yes the 1080 is better.

It is a very good price. But I have a 32 inch 720, and I would not buy another 720. That said, dh and I are very picky about our TV picture though, I'm guessing for most people it would be just fine. We might not notice the difference if we didn't have a 1080 to compare it to though. I would go to Target now, and check it out and see what you think of the picture.

I want the Ipod Touch for my son but NOT the 32g for nearly $300! The 8g is enough for him and I can get that for $139-$149 (depending on the generation) on the Apple site.
