Post pics of your bag you carry into park

This is the bag we use:

Canon-camera-bag-pack.jpg

We can fit our DSLR, Point and Shoot, Extra Lenses, Disney Rain Jackets (no ponchos here), umbrella, and a few small things (ie. Medicine case, memory cards, etc.). It's pretty comfortable and has a strap that locks across the chest and stomach area to help displace weight.

Where did you get it? What is the brand. This looks like something we would use. I have a camera bag but if I can combine, that would be great!

Thanks!

I'm considering buying a Sherpani Pica bag

Cute colors. I saw this at the local running store and really liked how compact the design was but what looked like alot of places to store things. Link has a video showing all the items it can store. Plus it is made from 67% recycled fabric.

I carried a Sherpani backpack last year and severely abused it - it still looks new!!! I love Sherpani. I bought a different type this year, not the pica though, can't wait to try it out.

I'm so sold on Sherpani anything - cute and soooooo durable.

I am looking for a small backpack type bag. I will be carrying a small camera, wallet, glasses and a phone. I want to wear a backpack vs. carrying a bag this trip. I love the Baggallini choices, but they seem really expensive. $80-130 seems like alot for a small bag. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks!

I just got the baggallini mesenger bag in black for $24.70 from shoebuy with a coupon. They always have free shipping, and usually have good coupons (I had a $10 off with the code SAVE10 which I'm not sure if it's expired or not) as well as 10% off for members (I was able to stack them and use both). Google shoebuy coupons and see if there is a new deal out there. I already had one of these which I loved in light blue, but I wanted a new color. My old one I've had for years and it shows no signs of wear. It is a really good bag, perfect size for the parks.

Are they still giving away this bag? How do you get it? My sis and I already have the Disney visa card. Are we eligible to get it? TIA!:surfweb:

I need to carry a lot and usually have a backpack but it gets heavy and annoying fast. Would a rolling backpack be more annoying or would it help save our backs? Was also thinking of using a messenger bag that is roomy. Any idea's?

I'd think it would be a pain, have to worry about people around you etc. I *think* anything rolling isn't allowed anyway.

Could you maybe split it into 2 backpacks (if more than 1 person going)?

Or, 1 backpack and 1 messenger, then switch off throughout the day so the affected body parts get a rest.

I wouldn't exactly call a credit report hit free.

SHOOT! I just can't stop myself....everytime I schedule a WDW trip, I have to get ANOTHER bag! I just won an ebay auction for another VB mini hipster. I have one but don't love the pattern. Last year in September I took an adult only trip and it was just so freeing having a little bag. My mom and sister were carrying around these big bulky purses :confused3 and I just felt so good with my little bag. Last year I also bought an Overland Equipment Donner bag for those days I needed a sweater or rain gear but I didn't use it nearly as much as the mini. I like the Donner alot and have taken it to Europe too. It is a nice size too but obviously bigger than the mini. The Donner's (to me) look really stiff, boxy and large when I looked on ebags. I saw one in person at REI and liked it so I bought it off Ebay for $20 with shipping. Have fun bag shopping...I never have enough

I just noticed....7 months from today  I'll be there

Just an FYI... my local TJMaxx had the Heys Travelmate for $12.99 in red.

Of course I had to get one!

My 7 year old son saw that one and BEGGED me to get it for him to he could have his own Disney bag.

Apparently I talk about/shop for the perfect bag too often. He has his own now though!! LOL

When I got home and showed the Heys to my 4 year old DD (bag-a-holic since 2), she pointed to the Columbia Azza Messenger I got at the outlet for $4.99 and said "good, now that one will be my bag for Disney!" It is a similar size as the Heys but no organization, just a big pouch. Does this mean I can now say "Carry your own autograph book!" princess: :rotfl:

I love this thread!!

My brother bought me this backpack for my birthday in June. I love it. It's the perfect size for everyday running around. It's smaller than a typical daypack, but not too small. I can fit a spare pull-up if needed, wallet, small first aid kit, tissues, phone, camera, etc. It has a very slim profile which I like.

Of course, I got it in Cactus -- a nice lime green :thumbsup2 Can't wait to use it at WDW in October.

UPS brought this to me today:

Travelon Sporty Messenger

And I think I may have my perfect park bag! (at least for this trip.. :rotfl:)

The front pockets will hold my phone, camera, sunglasses, park tickets and cards. The tiny zipper pocket is perfect for fastpasses. Love that the bottom expands and the wristlet will be handy. They don't show the interior of the wristlet on the video, but it has slots for cards.

I looked around and could only find this style on QVC for some reason.

On past trips I've used a Baggallini Messenger, Baggallini large wallet, Vera Bradley Hipster and Vera Mini Hipster. The Travelon seems like a nice combo of all the things I liked about my previous bags. :)

Just thought I'd share since I don't think I saw this one mentioned on the thread. (although I could have missed it in all these pages!)
