Post pics of your bag you carry into park

For you Baggallini Messenger folks...I love the bag itself, but is there any other way to wear it? I hate the cross-body thing.

I never wear mine cross-body either - I just sling it over one shoulder, that works just fine. I have to adjust the straps to the smallest size and safety-pin them so they won't slip, but it's worth it because I love the layout of the bag itself.

We normally take my bag pictured below and one of the green, WDW shopping bags.

Such a great thread! Thanks to everyone for all of he helpful info! :thumbsup2

I see that a lot of people like the Baggallini Messenger Bag. I am looking at either the City Bag or the Zipper Bag. Has anyone used either of these in the parks? I want something that I can use as a purse at home as well. I want something big enough to hold a small package of baby wipes, wallet, phone, occasional snacks for the kiddos, phone, keys - the day-to-day stuff. But it doesn't need to be huge. We will have a diaper bag and 2 strollers with us in the park (we are bringing a 4, 2, and 9 month old). Any thoughts on either of these models? Thanks.

I bought the Heys Travelmate two years ago when we went for the first time...I was frustrated with it the whole week, because the water bottle compartment ripped (I was only carrying a standard water bottle, not an oversized one), the two side zippers on the front pocket kept creeping down...It's been in the closet since we came home from that trip. I really like my MEC Travel All bag:

We use a regular backpack. Ours is Navy and I bought it at Gymboree about 3 years ago. It has wheels and a handle that extends for when you roll it. We start off using it as our carry-on for the plane for the electronics (camera, dvd's, dvd player, ipod, etc...) then when we get to the hotel we take out anything we don't need and go from there. It also has a "luch box" that you can snap on or remove. It holds everything for the day plus any purchases for the day. It also has the holder on the side and front that we put bottles of water in.

(hopefully my pictures attach I've never posted pictures on here before. I'm sorry for the reflection in some of the photos, I forgot that it has reflective strips on it.)

(ok dumb question, how do I post a picture on here:confused3 :headache:)

Excellent thread, I was wondering with all the new security measures everywhere if they still allowed bags. In the early 90's, my sister lived in Orlando, and my girlfriend and I would stay with her for a few days and do the parks with a bag that carried sandwiches and drinks, making our visit affordable for college students. Though I don't plan to bring sandwiches this time I have two picky eaters (5 year old is a self proclaimed vegan, and the 2 year old, is, well, 2 and won't eat anything without a fight) We'll probably have to bring in some kind of food or snack for them. Do they search the bag at all when you come in, we have very early reservations at the castle and don't want to get delayed trying to get through security.

I just ordered 2 of the baggallini rip stop bags in lime and black. I googled ebag coupons and found one for $25 off on your bday-its not but I used it. Its EMBDAYGIFT. You cant get free shipping but it was still cheaper even paying shipping. I paid $61 for 2 bags

They don't search as much as "peek" - I carried a small backpack purse. I noticed the strollers getting more of a once-over. I read on other threads that you can't bring coolers, I brought some small snacks and it was no big deal. popcorn::

YAY thats the code I used! Let me know how those bags work, they looked a little big to me

I think that really depends on the security CM. We've had some who just peek, but the majority want us to pull out anything large, and even some will really dig around in the bags and open anything with a zipper, searching with a small flashlight (this happened last month).

Just received my two bags, and I think they will be PERFECT!! I'm not even going to LOOK for any more bags (although I will stay subscribed to this thread) ;)

Can't WAIT for my trip!! Have bags, will travel!!!

I was wondering if anyone has tried the Jane Marvel Runaround?
http://www.ebags.com/jane_marvel/ru...elid=125588&rlid=detail&rcode=423971986129866

It has cute patterns while being functional. I need to make a decision today on my bag b/c the trip is getting closer and they have 20% off. I am trying to decide on a mid-size bag that I can fit extras in and maybe my Dslr. Any input?

This looks cute but I personally wouldn't take a bag that just hung off my shoulder...would move around too much. And if you load it up it would hurt by the end of the day

I just got the AmeriBag Healthy Back Bag...it's gonna be great! I got the distressed nylon is extra small for the park (I carry very little) -it does hang off your shoulder but the weight of the bag is evenly distributed. I loved it so much I bought a small in leather for my everyday purse. It has a non-slip grip so the bag doesn't move around. I am seriously in love with this bag! I like the nylon for the park in case it gets wet. Check it out, they have fun colors too!

I want to thank all of you for this thread. I have read it several time and upon all of your advise, I purchased a mini-hipster for my recent trip. It was perfect. I could carry sanitizer, my phone, sunglasses, camera, attach pins to the outside and still had room for other stuff. Great easy to access slots inside to keep fast passes handy as well as $. Best part was the plastic sleeve for KTTW. Always had my key handy for EMH and for access to BLT. Everything stayed safe and secure for all the rides and best of all, the strap was very comfortable on my neck. I highly recommend this bag for touring.

I used a larger Eddie Bauer bag for our flights as I had more to carry and I also made my kids carry their own small backpacks this trip. They are teenagers now and mom doesn't have to sherpa all their stuff around anymore. Other key thing was that we always asked for ice water at the parks, so we avoided carrying our own water bottles around, as they can be heavy.
