Post Photos of Hotels Here...DLH, HoJo, BWPPI, DI&S, CCI...etc.

We stayed at the DL Hotel March 7 & 8. We were in the Dreams Tower overlooking DTD. We had a corner room & most of our view was blocked by trees....but it also kept the lights from being an issue.

First of all thanks so much for all of the great pix you posted here. That helps immenesly. I have a couple of questions for ya:

The corner room, was it just a reg. room or a suite?
What floor were you on?
Did it have a connecting door?
How were the beds?
Were you on the north or south end of the tower?

I guess that was more than a couple, sorry.

Lastly, how was standing in front of all of that memoribilia? I mean, there's history right there!!!

It was a regular room, one King size bed.
4th floor
Connecting door was there...but we weren't using it.
Heavenly.....high up off the floor, so if you're short legged it could be a bit of a jump to get in & out. We're both tall, so no biggie for us. I really was very comfortable on these beds....I have fibromyalgia & hurt all over....especially after sleeping. It was the best I had slept in quite a while (could be the exhaustion, but I really wasn't sore in the morning like usual)
The end closest to ESPN Zone (it was just to the left of our window)----next to Mickey's Sorcerer Hat.

As for the memorabilia.....I was taken back by all of it. I could have spent an entire day looking at it. It just amazes me the history, photos, toys, etc on display. I also enjoyed looking at the art around the registration area.

Hope that helps!!

GRandPsMommy and DizneeLover, I'm loving all the DLH pix! Thanks! I never thought I'd want to stay there, but the opportunity has arisen and now we're all excited. :)

I loved it there & hated having to move to a new motel during our trip.....next time I'll figure out how to stay there the entire time!!

I was hoping you were going to respond to all the questions that way. I want the Dreams Tower, corner room with connecting door and on that side of the tower. I'm getting so excited and everytime I read one of your posts I get that butterfly anxious feeling. Keep posting pix!!! And thanks for the answers to my questions.

My next post I'll have a couple of pics from the Tropicana Inn...where we stayed 5 nights March 9-14.
Great photos of DL hotel thanks for posting them! It makes me want to stay there now!

Tropicana Inn:
We never made it to the pool (which is dead center of the parking lot).
:scared: About the pool in the middle of the parking lot!:scared: Was the room decent? It looks very small in your photos. Was there just the one bed in your room? Would you stay there again?

Our room was a "standard" 2 queen bed room......a little area around each bed, walkway between the foot of the bed & the tv stand/fridge/table. The sink was pretty much right in front of you when you opened the door. The bathroom we had only had a shower & toilet. Management commented that we were in one of the few rooms that didn't have a tub yet (they've been replacing showers with tubs)...lucky us......we had a 3 yr old that hates showers!!

So the room is not "roomy" but we managed with 4 of us in there. We also didn't spend a lot of time in there....so that helps!!

Yes I would stay here again if the DL Hotel was not in our budget. The location was fabulous!!!!

Bumping for those who are curious about different motels/hotels in the area...Please post pics if you have them! :)

Here are some photos of the Parkvue Inn

I thought I had more, but apparently not... :confused3

The view of DL from the breakfast area.

The motel has a great view of the fireworks, I watched them from my room twice on our last stay.

Will be there again in just over a month's time!

:yay:Thanks for posting! If you ever find pictures of the room I would find that very helpful. (I'm sure others would too!) A picture speaks a thousand words, and all that jazz...:cool1:

Any Ramada Maingate-At The Park pics.
44 more sleeps, this is what my kids tell me.......

Subbing :surfweb:
and looking out for some more photos of GCH - CONCIERGE popcorn::
I requested a bunk bed for our June stay. We thought it best with the party consisting of DH, me, DD11 (very short for her age) and DS2 (will turn 3 during our stay.

For those of you requesting bunk beds, what has been the outcome...got it or not got it?

My NDD1 room at HOJO. The beds were SOOOO comfortable! I loved the cathedral ceiling & skylights!

OOO I LOVE the light in that room. We are staying at HoJo in Disney View room, we requested top floor, and I haven't seen what the room looks like with the window over the door! Pretty!

yes this one was hojos 7floor I had the number in my mini trip report but don't have that all I can say is we were down the hall about 4 doors from the elevator an on the other side an I never had a problem. The only slight one I had was when at 11 or 12 we came back for rest well some times we couldn't get in because the maids weren't done. an at least once we got there before she did an we told her come back later or do it tomorrow. sorry only way for me to make it is to rest in mid day
