I feel SO stupid!
I wasn't feeling well yesterday, and I was rushing to gather and stamp and add return address labels to some letters before the mailman got to my mailbox. I grabbed the stack and handed it directly to the mailman.
One of the letters was DH's student loan payment. It comes with a mailing address sticker, which you stick on your blank envelope.
I found it stuck to my kitchen table this AM, so alas, it was mailed WITHOUT a mailing address.
I am 100% sure that it had both a stamp and our return address on it.
What happens now? Will the post office "return to sender"? I'm really worried about our check floating around somewhere (not that a postal employee will do something with it, just that I don't know where it is).
Thanks!
