Hi guys-
I finished my first full (and first Goofy) on Sunday. Sunday was a tough day, but I finished, met my goals, and was thrilled with the whole thing. But since then, I've been feeling like an emotional nightmare! I've been fighting the urge to sob for 2 days for no apparent reason. I was reading race reports and I wanted to cry. I was watching a stupid jewelry store commercial, and I wanted to cry. I'm typing this email, and I want to cry. I'm back to work today and I have no idea how I'm going to make it through the day without sobbing in my office over absolutely nothing! :lmao: After I finished my first half, I felt this way a little, but not as bad. Is this normal? Anyone else on the verge of tears today?

Thanks for helping me feel less crazy!

LOL both myself and my training partner were having this conversation the other day. She text me the night after the WDW 2012 Half around 3 am and was crying because she was so sad. I have to admit I've felt kind of down since pulling out of the Disney parking lot.

Best thing I found is to sit down as soon as possible and create a new training routine and start a few days after the race. I've already planned and registered for events for each month until November. That'll help you out a lot.
