Hi guys-
I finished my first full (and first Goofy) on Sunday. Sunday was a tough day, but I finished, met my goals, and was thrilled with the whole thing. But since then, I've been feeling like an emotional nightmare! I've been fighting the urge to sob for 2 days for no apparent reason. I was reading race reports and I wanted to cry. I was watching a stupid jewelry store commercial, and I wanted to cry. I'm typing this email, and I want to cry. I'm back to work today and I have no idea how I'm going to make it through the day without sobbing in my office over absolutely nothing!
After I finished my first half, I felt this way a little, but not as bad. Is this normal? Anyone else on the verge of tears today?
Thanks for helping me feel less crazy!
Leslie
